Just to let other traders know that you should wait till more miners dump and let the price fall, as you don't want to be a bag holder now do you?

700 sat is way too much at the mo.

I suppose a lot of folks will keep the first year to get that 100% interest, but right after than, im assuming they will dump quickly.
Do you know if the first-year interest is based on when the coin was received or based on the launch date?
In other words, is it a fixed point in time or variable based on when you mined (or bought) the coin?

Exactly,we set the first year interest to 71.5% due to the compounded interest.

71.5% / 52 weeks / 2 = 2.75%
1.0271^26=2.0245457
...

You will receive 2.75% every 2 weeks.
And no max coin age does mean you can let your coins sit in your unlocked wallet to get 2.75% every 2 weeks.
Other POS coins you have to move to reset the coin age. Or am I wrong with that?

It is already unlocked. You want to keep the wallet open so you can get your stake. You want to get your first year stake because you will get double of what you have now by the end of the first year.

Once the first year passes, it goes down to 2% stake.

Minimium stake age is 2 weeks. 100% will not appear all at once. Something like 100%/26 (52 weeks/2weeks). Roughly about 3.85% every two weeks. That's if you keep your wallet open all the time.

So, there will not be massive dumps all at once. People will sell there and there in small amounts.
Cool, sounds like a good way to do it.

Giveaway on the website is saying "Giveaway starts after launch". That's now isn't it?
Technically speaking, even 100 years from now is "after launch".
Doesn't mean immediately after launch.
I have no idea, but I heard someone mention after 2000 blocks have been mined.

I need to keep my wallet opened (and unlocked) just while mining or ever?

How to enable POS in wallet ?...
how

Just unlock your wallet.
But the POS will start after 20000 blocks.

The unlock menu item is greyed-out, does that mean it's already unlocked?
Is unlocking the same as having an un-encrypted wallet? I never encrypted mine in the first place.
That's because I normally don't keep much coin on-hand, but now that I think about this, the POS will require me to keep the coin there.
Maybe I should look at a way to do the paper backup, just in case it's stolen?

All these mining sites that what us to point our rigs at them......someone needs to run a promo Grin.

If they are really smart they could even base the promo off how much mh/s you bring to there pool.

We already do that. Anyone who mines at any of our pools gain Prize Draw tickets to our Dogecoin prize draw. We've given out 400,000 Dogecoin in the last 2 days and have 600,000 still to go. I understand it's not AsiaCoin - but Doge is still worth good money, no? Smiley

Have a look:
https://www.minep.it/pool/ac/prize-draws/

Thats cool, and yes doge counts for sure. Is the prize draw tickets based off the amount of hashing you can provide the pool, or is it just 1 ticket a miner?

Is this the same tosser who offered Battlefield 4 keys for mining with them? If so, I wont be taking part, it was a load of shite.

Erm.... no
