We are still in test mode. So no, you don't need to update your masternode. Unless  you want to participate in testing.

how to check if my storADE is working with adeptio masternode?

Is running an old masternode still ok or do i have to update to the storade masternode?

From now on masternode installation scripts available for Ubuntu 18.04 LTS & Ubuntu 16.04 LTS.

Both versions are compatible:
Ubuntu 16.04 until 2021
Ubuntu 18.04 until 2023

To achieve best results we need to increase that number up to > 50. If the number of masternodes with storADE will be increased fast enough maybe some promo be made at Xmas. (Testing requires at least ~250GB of data.)

Some specifications from storADE developed system:

*Communication between "storADE" nodes can be made only from masternode IP's. Which means all other calls will be rejected to storADE port; (Security check)
*To import data - secret hash has to be given; (Security check)
*Each storADE node works with SSL encrypted traffic; (Security check)
*StorADE cannot work without fully enabled masternode; (Masternode check)
