During the launch, the first retarget didn't take place till about block 1000-2000.

Just checked the source: looks like the block retarget interval is 360 blocks for the first 70000 blocks.

This needs to be resolved immediately.

720 minutes target is way too long. 12 hour retarget times with no gravity well is a death sentence for coins nowadays. Dev needs to change this to 30 blocks like was advertised IMMEDIATELY or implement gravity well.

Maybe. But the coin is based on the fact that Max Keiser is using his notoriety to pump a worthless coin and help de-legitimize the altcoin movement.. THAT is why it is ANTI Keiser! If you change it to fair keiser, it makes no sense and corrupts the original principles the coin was founded on. I will NOT support it if the name changes.

Well, actually if/when MaxCoin crashes we could see a flood of angry MaxCoin users flocking to AKC as a sign of protest. People are going to get burned by MaxCoin. I'm sure a few already have.

If we changed name to fair => a lot of people could stop mining but more people could start, and FKC gets attentions with media/press/social. Old miners come back again. And then FKC can go where it want, especially moon.

So my choice is FairKeiserCoin.

Although hate is a big way of attention too, it is just not as attractive as love.

So I think "FairKeiserCoin" suits the message of the coin better and is more adequate for big adoption.
