There might be, maybe there is a miner out there used by a lot of people which is not understanding the difficulty correctly? The initial difficulty for the pool is supposed to be 2, what are you getting?

Really that's your conclusion after seeing *with your own eyes* that your miner is not submitting the shares?

It looks like you only submit shares at a MUCH higher difficulty than what the pool asks, I'm not sure why though.
