There's sure to be a reasonable spike around 24th... there are still some people who are going to gamble on the coin increasing in value after the airdrop. Might as well ride that small wave and sell it for whatever you can get then.

You are right my friend, I just wanted to point out the hypocrisies behind governments. I don't think it is the purpose of Auroracoin to create money out of nothing, it is to give the people new means to store their value without the corrupted control of Banks, Government and other criminals...
Actually I will have to spend some time thinking what will happen if lets say the Icelanders dump all their coins for fiat (there is demand for aur so they don't get pennies back scenario).
This amount of cash coming out of nowhere should make their currency stronger...but I'm sure i'm missing something. Got to think this over in the morning with a coffee.
