This was scam?
https://aur.cryptoculture.net/

This pool have shut down and there is blocks unconfirmed and can not do any withdraws (becouse balances unconfirmed)

Also they may have reset some account information and can not send any ticket to pool admin.

It looks like it is too easy take miners coins and run away.

But do these operators really think that they can disappear totally. No way kids. Some day these scammed peoples find you. Small thyink but I can ask... do you operator really think it is nice when you all days afraid meet some scammed peoples... think that one may be your neighbour. Can you sleep?

Wrong, https://aur.cryptoculture.net/ is one of the best and serious pool, I always received the payment from here.
Unfortunately this pool is subject of many attacks..
I stopped to mine AUR because I don't find any decent pool to join, with ~100% uptime + the diff of AUR is out of my range

Yes, now I know more about this situation.

It looks like pool operator have done really hard work for solve this issue and now withdraw (least for me) works today.

I will take my words back about scam. It looks like my suspect was really wrong.

Perhaps I come back to this pool after it is up and problems solved.

They're actually hosdting their pool on a VPS lol? If you can't affoard a dedicated server well then dont host a pool, its doomed to crash.
We've just launched our auroracoin pool at http://x-pool.org/aur with high end dedicated servers with ddos protection on everything, we're working our way to our first block
Any hashrate is welcome Smiley
Just my two cents

       Forks at block 5400
        Gravity well added
Block time halved, reward halved, halving time doubled

Why not just move on to another coin which already has these from the start?

Or more importantly...there is this guy:

    https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/delete-504103

Looks like he is going to be bombing the living shit out of the Auroracoin blockchain at 5400.

Anyone's AUR might just go POOF after 5400.

    ..or maybe not?

    http://forum.auroracoin.org/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=247

EDIT: btw. why post the same question here, when you've got answers from the coin creator and others, on the auroracoin forum?

Guys check out our efficiency.  We have been rocking the AUR.  We don't have a ton of miners either, so the block rewards are huge.

If you know how pools work, you'll know miners are making a killing here.

    The whales start eating.
Where ? I saw no spike (Mintpal, Crypsty, SwissCEX, Poloniex ... )

The whole day on cryptsy.from 48 to 40.

By "spike" I mean up to 0.12 like on March 4th , maybe even to 0.25 like this dude wrote:  Smiley

    https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.5610634

There are still chances that this will happens ?
yeah it is likely to happen you can sit and watch the coin be manipulated on mintpal the whales have control where this coin is going and when it gets close to the fork they are going to take advantage of the fork to pump the coin big time and then dump it all. Then if the air drop happens after the fork it is likely the coin will hit .001 btc perhaps lower. On an upside the fork should make the coin mine able again...
