AUR is dead for now, profit switching multipools like Wafflepool raped and killed it yesterday. The difficulty is so high that it takes ages for new blocks to be found by miners. Because of this and dropping prices dedicated miners stopped mining and moved on. Don't forget: new blocks contain the transactions of the network and so your coin transfers. Each block is also a 'confirmation' for past transactions.

Incompetent devs launching a new coin without KGW are the cause. Not multipools.

Both are causes now. Root cause is indeed not implementing KGW (soon enough).

Last six blocks (they should come each 10 minutes)

How long is fucking take for this shit to get confirmed. Mined yesterday on multipool and its still unconfirmed wtf ?
Multipool.us and Wafflepool pumped AuroraCoin difficulty. They killed the coin.

This is one situation where p2pool has a distinct advantage. You still have to wait for your share(s) of the block the pool has found to mature, but at least the funds are sitting in your wallet. At a centralised pool, the funds could confirming for a day or two before you can withdraw them.
No. You will still wait for a day or two to confirm your funds from p2pool.

That's exactly what I said.

Funds are not available to spend, but they're in your wallet, not the pool operators.

Confirms are moving slowly because the network is. Gap between the current and previous block was almost 5 hours... and so far it's been another 80 minutes. It should normally be 10 minutes.

In the past 5 days only 388 blocks have been found; this is about half what the network should have been generating.

By the way, balduro says its an AIR-DROP ( I was thinking this was just a saying, that likely its not an actual air-drop )

So, then I thought that maybe an actual air drop might be possible, but it still doesn't really guarantee that the coins will go to each person in iceland, because of

4- the fact that the people who find the air-drop are then intercessors, so it would have to make it past the intercessors who find the air-drop, before those coins would get into the hands of each person in iceland.

I don't see why he can't just mail paper wallets to everyones house with details on what it is and how to claim, that would be the most logical way to go about this to reach entire population

While you all pat each other's backs, there are a 15 BTC buy wall, and a 5 BTC buy wall on Cryptsy. We just doubled, and still going strong. Lol.

What exactly does that mean? Price going up, down?

it means it is easily manipulated for pumpers.  5btc or 15btc is not much at all for a person to manipulate.  that is what the beauty is with bitcoin, it is hard for somebody to move because the volume is just soooo large, like 150,000 coins a day.  the same will apply to NEM after the sell off on day one, the volume and dispersal of the coin will reflect the true market value.

must be desperate to go around other coins forums promoting NEM. I guess the future of NEM is highly uncertain and it needs a huge word of mouth as the product ain't speaking for itself Cheesy

I brought it up to him by total chance. And that's why it might be really big, too many stakeholders involved. So it's going to have some popularity.

These spammers are chosing to make things sound negative too much.

balduro?

consider locking this thread,

and starting a new AURORACOIN MAIN THREAD,

but this time, make sure its a

SELF-MODERATED THREAD,

and that way, you would be able to delete all this spam from these spammers
(too much negative spam on this thread might be making people panic sell too much; and until you can instill more confidence in the investors, we don't need their negativity, which is also price manipulation from some of them as well. some of them want to buy in low again, and then try and sell much higher later on again, and that also means that some investors are losing too much, and you don't want your investors losing lots of money like that either)

But please keep this one live as well, I'm planning to make a list of all the popcorn eating screechers and their quotes to send them all a personal haha when our efforts have proven them wrong  Grin Grin Grin Grin

I was wondering how the airdrop will actually work? yeah trough national id, but is it live collection, some kind of form at internet or what ? If they dont have database from all people with accepted national id and its image scan, its pretty easy to manipulate...
