so does anyone know what happened with this pool ? http://aur.pool.mineabit.com

I guess it's some sort of HIT & RUN thing!
that would not be GOOD  Cool Cool Cool Cool Cool Cool Cool Cool

I know .... that's why I use p2pools .... but speed there is slow and people prefer to mine on shady minigpools who run with the coins Smiley

I really hope I'm not right in your case and they just have a problem

but keep in mind p2pool are the way to go!

no registration no taxes no waiting times
mine directly to your wallet!

before you start accusing please verify what you are saying. I could have stolen peoples coins in many ways and i didn't. In fact i did not even charge fees like everyone else is doing.

Running pools has some costs and I rely on donations which gess what? Have been close to 0 (1.5 AUR to be exact).

I hope you agree that everyone is entitled to get some rest every now and than and all happened was the weservger crashed while i was asleep.

I woke up, read the tons of insults received, restarted the web server and guess what? The pool is back online and even better while the webserver was offline the wallet kept issueing payments while the blocks were confirming.

Ofcourse noone receiving payments is complaining so they have no point in posting that things are running fine reassuring others.

Now if you will excuse me i need to grab some coffee so i can start the day
I am mining at your poolsince almost 24hours and got one payment since then.

Man ehere are our coins? 0% fee from nothing does not help.
7MH

In the last 24 hours the pool has found 2 block, 1 confirmed and 1 not confirmed.

The network seems to be stuck on block 3866 so there are no more confirmations coming in.

How hard is it to understand that if the blocks are not confirming the pool cannot payout? And how hard is it to understand that if the pool don't find blocks, the pool cannot payout because the pool does not receive coins?
This is why I recommend p2pool!

You should make one for paranoids like me Smiley

How long withdraw to cryptsy takes ?

Stop using cryptsy, they have this problem since doge epoch !

you will get your coins in cryptys after they will have been confirmed on your deposit and after the move of funds is confirmed again! Because they move the funds from the temporary wallet to another one (i guess cold storage)

so yeah ... you have to wait a little more Cheesy

I've never had a problem with cryptsy withdrawals/deposits (using it since about 3 months ago).

Only thing that's weird is those out-of-band trades supposedly happening.

No, pools won't find every block. I'm talking about network blocks, which are supposed to be found every 10 minutes on average. You can see the pool is reporting the network round time as 10 mins and 46 seconds, so 100+ minutes is definitely not normal.
ahuh, i see now. Well i haven't had in transaction in my pool since 18 hours ago aprox. so i reckon it's either the net or the pool.

Speaking of connections... is it just me, or has it been a while since a block was found?

I am showing the most recent block is 3866, which was found approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes ago.

Hopefully not a stall caused by a multipool exiting due to the difficulty increase.

Where r u mining at?
i am mining @ aur.pool.mineabit.com
Code:
GENERAL STATISTICS
Pool Hash Rate 194.761 MH/s
Pool Efficiency 99.86%
Current Active Workers 202
Current Difficulty 2819.29806734
Est. Next Difficulty 654.38253013 (Change in 14 Blocks)
Est. Avg. Time per Round (Network) 10 minutes 46 seconds
Est. Avg. Time per Round (Pool) 17 hours 16 minutes 12 seconds
Est. Shares this Round 11547845 (done: 253.74%)
Next Network Block 3867    (Current: 3866)
Last Block Found 3769
Time Since Last Block 20 hours 15 minutes 19 seconds
As u can see last found block was about 20hours ago, so i'd say 1-2 hours for a block is pretty f ing good.

did the protocol version change recently?

p2pool does not work anymore. https://github.com/tumist/p2pool-aur/issues/1
That error usually happens when there are no connections available (the daemon is maxed out). I don't think there have been any chnages to the auroracoin daemon/protocol lately ?
No, I got plenty of connections slots available...

This issue is bugging me too. So far the only solution seems to be to restart the client, so that p2pool can get in before the slots fill up again.

Why does p2pool need to check that the client has AUR network connectivity anyway? It seems redundant: the client will already refuse to provide work if it is not connected to any peers. Plus, all connection slots being full probably means there's a good chance it's connected to the AUR network!
