i've beein minig aur for a day at http://aur.pool.mineabit.com/, the pool just now came back alive, before this stratum was working but the site would not open in browser, but after about a full day of mining with a hashrate of 600 khash/s, i only got 0.03 aurora! is it normal because i expected about 0.2 or even 0.3 aur per day with my hash. only two transaction have been listet in my transaction's page, one of them which is unconfirmed still, is it possible that my payouts haven't come yet because of the long intervals between blocks?
The diff and network hashrate are exploding. With a block reward of 25 coins, you can't expect to make very many coins per day with the hash you have. In fact with a diff of 2800 and your hashrate of 600 kh/s, you can only expect to make ~0.1 AUR per day. In addition, you only get paid when the pool finds a block. The pool stats page shows they haven't found a block in over 18 hours, which is why you haven't received any recent payouts.

http://aur.pool.mineabit.com/index.php?page=statistics&action=pool

Code:
Pool Hash Rate 231.030 MH/s
Pool Efficiency 99.86%
Current Active Workers 215
Current Difficulty 2819.29806734
Est. Next Difficulty 658.80001571 (Change in 15 Blocks)
Est. Avg. Time per Round (Network) 10 minutes 41 seconds
Est. Avg. Time per Round (Pool) 14 hours 33 minutes 32 seconds
Est. Shares this Round 11547845 (done: 242.32%)
Next Network Block 3866    (Current: 3865)
Last Block Found 3769
Time Since Last Block 18 hours 27 minutes 48 seconds

Wow man thanks for your explanations, it really lighted me up, i think this pool is not stealing, like the other user accused it, but it has just not found a block!

before you start accusing please verify what you are saying. I could have stolen peoples coins in many ways and i didn't. In fact i did not even charge fees like everyone else is doing.

Running pools has some costs and I rely on donations which gess what? Have been close to 0 (1.5 AUR to be exact).

I hope you agree that everyone is entitled to get some rest every now and than and all happened was the weservger crashed while i was asleep.

I woke up, read the tons of insults received, restarted the web server and guess what? The pool is back online and even better while the webserver was offline the wallet kept issueing payments while the blocks were confirming.

Ofcourse noone receiving payments is complaining so they have no point in posting that things are running fine reassuring others.

Now if you will excuse me i need to grab some coffee so i can start the day

sure, ~50% less than what shoudl be credited to my account,
better stay away from this pool

How do you do the calculations?

The payouts are calculated according to the total number of valid shares submitted for the round and split according to the number of valid shares submitted by each user. It is not a manual process

did the protocol version change recently?

p2pool does not work anymore. https://github.com/tumist/p2pool-aur/issues/1
That error usually happens when there are no connections available (the daemon is maxed out). I don't think there have been any chnages to the auroracoin daemon/protocol lately ?
No, I got plenty of connections slots available...

Widrawis ppending for auroracoin on Mintpal from 2 hrs. How much time more Sad

Did you confirm email? Mintpal will ask you to confirm email link they send when you submit withdraw. Once you click the link and log in to Mintpal, you have to go back to your email and click the same link again for proper confirmation, did you try that? If not try that now and you ll be fine  Grin

so does anyone know what happened with this pool ? http://aur.pool.mineabit.com

I guess it's some sort of HIT & RUN thing!
that would not be GOOD  Cool Cool Cool Cool Cool Cool Cool Cool

I know .... that's why I use p2pools .... but speed there is slow and people prefer to mine on shady minigpools who run with the coins Smiley

I really hope I'm not right in your case and they just have a problem

but keep in mind p2pool are the way to go!

no registration no taxes no waiting times
mine directly to your wallet!

I truly like the idea of this coin and hope it succeeds, but I still remain skeptical. Good luck to all.

Indeed!!

Why is nobody mining at(...)

And is there a list of p2pool nodes, especially for people in belgium (EU)?

You can mine at CrunchPool:
Zero fees!!

It's in Germany so ping to Belgium should be very low.
We have a dedicated server that can handle lots and lots of miners. Plus, we have patched p2pool in order for small miners to get work accepted more often, so you won't despair for minutes without even seeing accepts!
Also, it won't fall apart like the other pools. It's rock solid and dependable.

Hi, I already noticed your node but what ping is acceptable? I'm around 50ms at the moment.
50ms is pretty good Smiley

How realistic is the 2-3 weeks for reaching the point where the KGW kicks in?

It seems to me that this is running very close to the date for the proposed airdrop which, in reality, doesn't allow many more coins to be mined before that happens.

I'm very much a beginner here but presumably there are implications to this in terms of the likely price in the run-up to the airdrop and immediately after.

So looks like we ran into alot of issues last night.

Site is back up so users can withdraw but stratum will be staying down.

Please start withdrawing your balance and please post here if you manage to withdraw.

http://aur.ctrlaltdefeated.us

Looks like most users have managed to withdraw..If you haven't please do so.
