don't you think without more PR (for which likely nobody has the financials) all people who knew about the airdrop and wanted to claim already have? Why is it so hard to accept the airdrop was a) too big and b) too long?
I would recommend not to drag this shit out more months to not let it fail entirely. Close the darn leak as quick as possible so we can sail!
Can you spell attrition?!
Once you got a rising price everyone will be much more enthusiastic. Right now this is the worst coin of all.

Trash the leftover coins so we can repair this wreck. This has been long enough. Thank you for considering!

Your logic is entirely broken too! Instead of giving out more coins because it has become worthless you give out less coins so it can appreciate in value! If you cut down the airdrop to a generous faucet of 5 coins per icelander this can go to any hight again. Why do you insist on keep this down with the shitcoins? CUT THESE FREE COINS DOWN DRASTICALLY!
You can keep the airdrop open literally forever if you just reduce the number of coins! How dumb are these people?
Where is the difference if a coin is worth 1 cent and you give 300 away or the coin is worth 10 dollars and you give 5 away? Huh?!
I need to facepalm each time i read this thread, really. The airdrop planning and management was done by economic amateurs or some communists, that's for certain.  Roll Eyes

I totally agree with you. The website is abandoned and it's forum hacked for months.
Nobody knows exactly where this ship is sailing. But there is hope.

Forum hacked? What do you mean?

What about a little planning Gents? I mean, I like the idea of a new fresh start and all, but it all seems a little to much fluffy to me.

As many of you know I have been a firm and persistent supporter of Auroracoin from the start. Some of us have been keeping at it for the past couple of months, but nowhere we have seen any participation from anyone involved in the new group that is trying to take over from Baldur.

If you don't want to make the same mistake of misplanning all over again, it might just be the last serious chance for this magnificent project going to waste.

So I would seriously suggest to get back to the original forum and put together a group of serious supporters that are willing and able to act upon necessary things.

It worries me that even the current dev's are doing guess work as to why nobody is claiming the 3rd phase airdrop, while the clock is ticking away. If we want adoption of AUR in Iceland (which imho is the main goal of this project), we should be (and have been) very busy planning and acting local marketing!

I'm still up for it, but we need local participants badly! So where are the Icelandic friends we need?

And oh yeah, we do need some statement from Baldur as well!!!

I think it's the 636 Aur that made someone panic.

The AUR price action on Cryptsy feels like coins are being dumped in quantity. Not that I'm opposed to picking up some cheap coins, but I wonder if more are being claimed than we think.

I'm thinking that the volume would rather indicate that someone was expecting the price to drop because of the airdrop and wanted to sell before the price went down. The volume is much higher than what has been claimed in this phase of the airdrop and the time when the majority of the coins were sold is between 6-8:00 in the morning here, which would make it very unlikely that it was someone from here selling.

I might be wrong, but according to the airdrop count and timing, the dumped coins are a market manipulation.
Clearly he or they love numbers and painting candles, with too much precision.
They should read Pierre-Joseph Proudhon and ask themselves: What Is Property? Smiley

Hey molecular, is it totally impossible for me now
to get the coins of 2nd phase which I missed ?

Good luck, g

I have no idea. I'm not involved in running anything airdrop-related. I would assume, though, that airdrops 1 and 2 are over now and no more coins can be claimed from them.

All right. I´m seriously happy with my 636 AUR anyway.

This is gonna run for four months, right ?

Yes, according to the airdrop blueprint.

Outstanding.

Good luck, g

hmm, 20$ up for grabs in crypto and 28 of 300,000 take the offer? weird.

Your work is an important "barometer" for this coin. Thank you for fixing the data output.

Thanks Wink (also to Skarfur)

keep in mind my stats can easily be gamed, though. It counts every transaction of amount 636 AUR, no further checks wether it's really an airdrop tx are done.

Just a thought. Would it be a big deal to compare the transactions to the pre-mine addresses?

I don't think the transactions come directly from the premine addresses. Would have to allow for a couple of jumps maybe, I'm not sure. I haven't looked exactly how the coins move from premine address to airdrop recipient, to be honest.

Nobody has a clue that this is being distributed.

Yes, that is correct. Nobody knows about it as it has not been announced anywhere. This doesn't mean it's bad or something to have great concerns about. There are 4 months where people can claim this and during that time we plan to lift this coin up.

I don´t think it´s bad and I´m not concerned at all.

Just kicking my own butt for missing phase2.

I agree. No need to hurry, you guys need time and the exchange will bring enough attention. I hope you can pull it off... it's no simple thing.

Smiley Yeah its no simple thing thats for sure. I'm also sure that it will get good attention when it's up and running.
