The blueprint said something else:

Stage 2
The Airdrop is reset. Every Icelander will be able to claim a part of the coins, left over from Stage 1 in the premine addresses. The amount of coins shall be calculated in the following way: (Stage 1 remaining coins / 330,000 = coins awarded). In this stage and the following, both the original recipients of the coins will able to retrieve their gifts, as well as other Icelanders. This stage will last another 4 months.

about 1126642 AUR were claimed on first airdrop. Therefore according to above description the second airdrop should have been (10500000-1126642) / 330000 = 28.4 AUR

WTF?

Sad

Correct me if I am wrong. The second drop is tenfold; 318 AU. So, it will be that the first 30,000 people that ract will get their coins while the rest is too late.

I think that is the only way to look at it. Phase 1 of the airdrop gave all equal chance to claim the coins. Now it looks like first come, first served.

The second airdrop will commence at midnight GMT here in Iceland. Hopefully it will bring Baldur back and increase the value. Each drop will be 318 AUR compared to 31,8 AUR in the first one. Crossing fingers because I've leached plenty of Social Security Numbers (Kennitala) from family members to stock up on this shit.

Most Icelanders sold their shares to traders which then exchanged AUR to BTC or they got help from strangers to exchange for them. Some stocked up, like me Smiley

It's good to hear at least one person is stockpiling.

It's been my hope that maybe this time price would be low enough for people to be disincentivized to sell and they would keep their AUR instead, start using and spreading "that shit". ;-)

By increasing the airdrop amount by a factor of 10, from the first airdrop phase 31,8 AUR to 318 AUR for the second, ca. 9% of the population will claim the rest of the AUR coins.

First come, first served?

Guys... Sorry if I'm too noob to this thing, but...
There's already a GLOBAL coin for everyone, called bitcoin.
There's another GLOBAL one which is different in its algorhythm, called litecoin.

These are GLOBAL coins. Everyone in the world can use them.
So why do you try to LIMIT a coin to a country AT ALL? It's like you wanted to regulate it, just like governments try to do. Even your people can't understand not to sell them just after receiving them.
What's the use of creating all kinds of more global coins at all? They're all targets for speculators, nothing more.

We already have the solution for the whole world's problem, and it's called bitcoin. (and maybe litecoin)

I think I agree but here we are paddling around and innovating with new ideas.

Here's a pro tip, numbskulls: the OP started cashing out his massive fortune on premine shares when the price started to hike past the 30 dollar mark and close to 100 bucks.

False. The premine addresses were public and no premined coins were moved before the actual airdrop started. So there's a fact for you, numbskull.

It's interesting how you're resorting to insults.

It has been pointed out several times (and even before the airdrop started) that there were absolutely no mechanics that showed the airdrop is actually legitimate.
The amount of coins claimed is suspiciously high and it would have been absolutely trivial for a large portion of those to go into dev hands.

This has been a scam right from the start. The only difference is, devs put a good amount of time into making it appear legitimate to boost the value.

I'm resorting to insults? Just parroting what the he said first.

He said: OP started cashing out his massive fortune on premine shares when the price started to hike past the 30 dollar mark and close to 100 bucks

When the price was between 30 and 100 dollars, the premine addresses were untouched. So he was simply lying, which makes him a liar.

I think the community here should just simply take over the Aurora Coin if the dev will not return by august. I aswell believe people in Iceland will find Aurora once the banksters cardhouse permanently falls (largest bank of Portugal is allready busted, so the domino effect will begin shortly). This might be the last chance to get cheap AUR.

lol all you idiots fell for it

Or shall I say, you all knew it was a scam from the start, but just wanted to cash in and hype this thing up to save your own ass on your investment, hoping the next sucker would come along and buy from you.

Oh well...not his problem anymore.  Probably one of the easiest and lucrative scams I've ever seen in my life.  It was just a trainwreck watching it unfold knowing what the outcome was going to be the whole time...yet people insisting the OP was some saint and people in iceland would give a shit about some 'virtual currency.'

Mike makes a statement about PROOF OF DISTRIBUTION and how it should be layered for any crypto currency: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/premine-coins-proof-of-distribution-pod-mike-scofield-only-one-place-584591 (Setting the Example) did Aurora have any POD?

dev will come back or we'll have to make takeover of some kind but it'll not die. I think balduro maybe just had enough of attacks and negativity for a while and may come back later after some vacation. This altcoin-section can be a nasty place and aurora was under attack from many directions in the past. I can understand a dev taking some timeout from that with all the pressure that was at him. I think he'll be back later.
