I think you are running some kind of scam...
When someone starts to win in your casino the site makes him lose. So?
BTW you had to accept clams because Canada banned you using BTC, another suspicious maneuver...

Really, WTF your are doing in this topic? Dont like it go away!

I'm happy with Bitconnect and I'm sure it will be another amazing year!

This returns are nothing exceptional, check ICONOMI, TAAS, RIALTO... They use arbitrage, volatility and longterm investment into different coins. Profits are much higher than here...

None of those three promise returns. That's the difference.

There's nothing wrong with investing money for people, trying to make a profit, and maybe making a loss.

There is something wrong with promising 0.25% per day on any amount, because it's unrealistic to be able to guarantee to do that well on average on arbitrary sums for arbitrarily long periods.

This is not a ponzi scheme, but it can be a scam until they show trading bot is real...

I think it is a Ponzi scheme, which is a kind of a scam. It doesn't matter whether they are running a bot or not, or whether they have made a lot of money from the appreciation in the price of their token. One day the token's value will start going down and they will be losing money. Do you think they will continue paying out massive amounts of interest to the idiots who are trusting them once it stops being profitable to do so? I don't.

Everything I say is in My Opinion Only!
USA land of the regulated Smiley
You cannot trade forex like we do, you have only 1:50 leverage and no hedging and FIFO rule because of Dodd-Frank act.
You cannot buy into ICO, because regulators want to protect you against losing money, while your student loans and mortgages are in a bubble...
Your 401k is BS and the only way you can get some independence is if you have an IRA account...
You have to pay to IRS even if you work outside US...

I wonder why people call it American dream Smiley

You forgot to mention that they still make us pay social security when they have already admitted that most of us will never see it when we retire because they have spent it on other things without our permission.

They are a bunch of lying thieves. The rules only apply to us, not them.

Oh, and you can participate in ICOs if you are an accredited investor (rich).
Because a Multi Racial, Multi religion guy, with less then Pro America Ideals can Become President. and leave the White house after 8 years with 20 million in his back pocket. lol

No kidding. Did a lot of damage the US. It will takes years to undo the damage if it's even possible. Hopefully the US will get back on track before it's too late!

Everything I say is in My Opinion Only!
I think USA government made the right move. I know ponzi is prohibited on this forum, I don't understand how they allow bitconnect thread here...

The USA govt did nothing and BitConnect is not a ponzi.
Texas is just one state out of 50 states and does not make law for the entire USA.
(I am an American Citizen and I know what I am talking about).

And if you look up what a "Cease and Desist" letter is, it is not legally binding.... not by itself.

BitConnect is now asking all its customers what state they live in, if a USA customer, and, they have stopped accepting any deposits from anyone from Texas, as requested from the state of Texas govt.   If they catch you lying, you will be banned.   They can catch you when you try to upgrade your account to "verified" ... you need to show proof of who you are and where you live.

That said, BitConnect needs to start talking to the public, or, whether they a scam or not, their BCC will go down ... a lot.
It's not doing great right now.

All very good points. Some Texans seem to brag that they are a country of themselves. If so as this article states: https://www.reference.com/history/did-texas-become-independent-country-d81bfd9cab758165  then why don't they just secede and stop "messin" up the rest of the US! They have a saying "Don't mess with Texas", but they're trying to mess up a good thing for the rest of us. Is that hypocrisy?

It's good that Bitconnect is now excluding US citizens like many other ICOs. I think US Govt will only just create trouble for bitconnect. Let the US citizens keep earning their 1% per year in their banks.  Asia has got more than enough volume to cover this deficit

I don't know why there is so much buzz about texas restriction, just don't allow Us citizen to invest, it is already stated in other Ico, so let just do trading and leave the rest of the world to invest in Bitconnectcoin, it's a per country regulations if your country restrict you to invest in this kind of program then follow that rules.

anyone having problem verifying state on bitconnect?

Icon

If you go onto youtube, it seems if you put in a State with 2 names i.e. New Jersey, it gives an error. Seems Bitconnect is being proactive and suspended Texas until things get sorted out.

Yep well any state i choose from comes back with "The state filed may only contain alpha-numeric characters."

And its a drop down box Sad

FYI i am from North Carolina one of the most liberal crypto states in the union Smiley

It used to be the American dream:   individual liberty with individual responsibility.
The 'left' has ruined it... by selling theft of property by way of democratic election.

America is hurting yes, and hopefully "we" will learn and get better.   Hopefully Obama was the bottom.

....stop voting democrat.

I own a social networked, inbound marketing platform (SAAS) commerce platform, wallet, exchange, faucet lead portals, web conference rooms, etc. An Ecocenter for Cryptopreneurs. We are operational in the US for 4 years while developing. OK?

So now we are about to raise back room capital so we can move out of the US and launch our platform into the blockchain with an ICO.

I will also be abandoning my US citizenship in the process to become a citizen in a friendly country.

This is becoming a trend.

Guys, who to write to? The support is silent for a month! I lost access to my account in 2FA, I want to restore via support, silence ..

Did you email them from the account which was used to open your lost Bitconnect account?
Honestly though I doubt they will be able to restore access, since Authenticator is your responsibility, how did you lose the key for it anyways? Sad

Agree, BitConnect is not a ponzi, but might be a scam.

The BCC price touched 400 after the Texas news, but apparently the world doesn't care.... BCC up to 440ish now, I think the all-time high is 450 ish.

Also, I think they won't reveal their secrets.... if they did, everyone would see how great it is and rush in and ruin it.   In other words, I think they are playing the secrecy to the advantage of maximum longevity.   It is their secrecy that keeps me (and probably everyone) from dumping 10k+ into BitConnect.

Just my thoughts, no proof or anything.   But rallying on 'bad news' is usually a good sign.

Let's see how things evolve from here. It's truly causing lots of noise out there.

Charlie Lee [LTC]

@SatoshiLite

I've been asked what I think about BitConnect. From the surface, seems like a classic ponzi scheme. I wouldn't invest in it and wouldn't recommend anyone else to.

I follow this rule of thumb:

"If it looks like a , walks like a , and quacks like a , then it's a ponzi."

@bccponzi
Replying to @CapitanEvropa and 3 others
1% interest compounded daily would make your $1000 investment worth $50 million+ in 3 years, does that sound sustainable to you?

Vitalik Buterin

@VitalikButerin

Yeah, if 1%/day is what they offer then that's a ponzi.
