Well, my wallet syncs up really fast and I've got full bar connection to the network.
If your wallet seems stuck on '0 hours', all you have to do is re-launch the qt and it'll sync up just fine. I've had this happen a few times before.

They just won't listen to you some people are just too greedy and they will sell everything they didn't put money into for few bitcents.
