Looking on Bittrex orderbook...there are HUGE amounts of bdg selling, it's not about the coin supply but the fact that 10 million coin generated in just 2 weeks means a lot of coins immediately in the hands of miners, so the coin will have to survive the dump of this huge amount of coins (miners mine for profit not for PoS) on the market before getting a decent price. Because that is determined by the market offer/demand before than coin supply.
I like the idea of the coin, not sure about this first phase though.
Look at the orderbook....not many would want to buy with THAT sell pressure.

according to code:
6.65 mil in 2 weeks +/-, 10 million total...
POW_CUTOFF_HEIGHT = 40320 * 160 + premine = 6651200
1st year: 6651200 * 1.15 = 7648880
2nd year: 7648880 * 1.15 = 8796212
etc
That is correct, as per OP 6.45 million in the POW phase

6.65 mil in 2 weeks +/-, 10 million total...
POW_CUTOFF_HEIGHT = 40320 * 160 + premine = 6651200

so pow phase is only 6.65m, not 10.

It seems that the distribution wasn't the best ... the curve could have been not that sharp and spread over a different time frame.
Got a few bdg for my animal collection but that's all unfortunately at this moment.

You just need to leave the wallet open and unlocked and it will do the rest, staking starts in 6 days now, then the minting icon in the bottom right will turn green and start showing you stats on when you should get payouts. You can also load expert mode and see more about your coins and there POS priority.
