I learned yesterday morning of a grand opening of a Bernie Sanders for President HQ (aka BERN center) and thought it would be a great place to circulate BERN airdrops as well as show my support for Bernie and the political revolution I do wish to see. I wanted to inform these people that are already well aware and in support of the political revolution that there was another revolution going on and has equally the potential to impact and improve our lives. Of course, I was there to evangelize the use of all cryptocurrencies. Using Bernie as the common ground I would surly have with these like minded individuals and leveraging this common ground, I was able to gain the attention of many people that might not have otherwise cared to listen to me rant and promote cryptocurrency.
Here I am preparing the 200 paper wallets loaded with 250 BERN each:
I knew I would not have time to explain crypto or the paper wallet to each person I gave an airdrop paper wallet to. So I made up a one page word document and did my best to give a brief explanation. I also provided an email address so interested people could contact me if they needed help or wanted to learn more. A screenshot of the document is above to the right.
As you can see, there was quite a few people at the ribbon cutting ceremony. Most of the people there were volunteers that ran phone banks and such. Many more people came and went throughout the 2 hour event. I was very surprised a local television channel was there to do a broadcast. As we all know, Bernie is often not given the suitable attention from mass media but, I was glad to learn that would not be the case at this event. I introduced myself to the local television reporter that is a bit of a local celebrity. I did engage his camera man about BERNcash and while he was familiar with crypto and did talk with me about BERNcash, he did advise me they only had a 60 second slot and I would not be able to get a mention of crypto into the brief broadcast. He did say he would get a mention of BERNcash.org into the web content of the event.
After the ribbon cutting, I was able to introduce myself and BERNcash to the campaign volunteers and Bernie supports. Here I am interrupting sign construction to explain BERNcash and circulate airdrops:
After the event winded down to a close and feeling I had given out well over half of my paper wallet airdrops, I left the remainder on a table with other informational pamphlets for Bernie supports to take in the coming week. I did explain to the volunteers that people should only take one and I would gladly drop off more when those were all gone. I also said I would be happy to load more paper wallets with airdrops for events outside my local area. They said they would pass the information "up-stream". I do hope I am able to get other events interested in circulating airdrops and therefore educating people of crypto while supporting Bernie.
The evening was a great success for both BERN, Bernie, and also crypto in general as I was able to inform a lot of people. If anyone would like to circulate airdrops at a local Bernie event like I did, please PM me. Of course, I would want to discuss doing so on skype and validate your intentions and I would not load the addresses until after I was sure they were properly distributed.
I am glad my home state of Ohio is feeling the BERN!
