At this point, just make it right. We've all been patient and holding so a few more days isn't the end of the world. Once its out and working, no one will care about the delays, etc. All will be quickly forgotten 
I'm very excited about the future of this coin and more so about the tight community that has formed around it. Keep up the good work and the updates are much appreciated.

Morning folks
The wallet has been compiled and handed out to XBC admins, we are currently mining through the remaining POW blocks to ensure the POS network begins to function properly, I will be back soon to post an update.

What a Comedy Drama.
Apparently its already testing live. I am expecting sometime in this coming week...maybe a few days away at the latest I would think.What a Comedy Drama.
Probably best to not release anymore ETA...just release it and let things go.
All the trolls and FUDers are gonna look over every inch of this wallet. We're just being meticulous so that they won't find a single thing
Trust me, they will find something, whether it's there or not. If it is technically sound, they will find issue with the color or some other miniscule thing. Not to worry though.

I am looking forward to the release of the wallet but even more so at all the other infrastructure being rolled out. Just waiting a few more days once wallet is released before I make another blog post. Price is as stable as ever so that must say something.

Like you've said, we really don't want dormant issues to start popping up a month or a year down the road, hence why seriouscoins and the rest of our team has been delaying this wallet the past week or two.
Aside from this wallet issue, we have the rest of the team working on upgrades to our current releases, to add significantly more content and resources for our users. In the works are also a charity project, merchant program, and one of our new members has several of his personal projects in the works that he would like to share with XBC.
We understand the concerns and will get a member to check this thread more often to answer questions and give updates. It's really helpful to us when members such as yourself vocalize your opinions and concerns in a professional manner, as it shows that our community cares and wants to see this project grow.
I've said it before, but the biggest mistake the team made was asking people to send coins to poloniex. It got people's hopes up that the wallet would be made available immediately... as normally coins that do a swap-over only when the new wallet is ready to go. People can be insanely impatient at times, any delay to them is a catastrophe or just more fuel for trolls.
Those other projects, that casino thingy, merchant program and all of that is what should be talked about here in the forum, not just irc. When teams are silent, people just assume the worst.
Personally, I think coinpayments and moolah should be targets. If you get those, you can then use XBC on lots of other merchant sites, not even counting ones you set up yourself.

exactly how I feel about this situation...Why not update the OP in this thread? (If they can update it) if not...get the word out...the XBC IRC channel is not enough.
If more people knew about this the price of XBC would be at around .02 right now at the very least.
I'm not so sure about spamming this thread, but the dev and committee members should use this forum for communication more than IRC, in my opinion. Nothing wrong with using both, but it's dangerous to rely too much on IRC -- most people here won't be using IRC or have a clue in regard to what is planned or new things.
Although I'd like to see the wallet out and whatever is planned talked about more, at least things should be wrapped up soonish (I hope). I'd rather the wallet work when released, than dragged out with bugs forever. Look at Clean Water coin for an example of what occurs when things go poorly ... I think they are like on their 3rd wallet, several developers, over a month of issues, and they still have wallet problems. Spend extra time now, and then no worries later.

So I am still good to send to poloniex??
I tried yesterday and the deposit went ok. It just takes ages (1200 confirmations). I suggest you try and send a small amount first and if that appears in pending deposits on poloniex you're good to go and send the remainder.
