Lolllll it is possible to buy xbc at poloniex so people who wants to "control" the market just have to buy like other did before. Is that simple !!! Haters need to wait next big train because they missed this one. Not sorry for you, we took a risk...

Not to put to fine a point on it but anyone who wasn't part of the insider IPO and buying now on the open market is a hopeless fool who hates money.

This coin's biggest and only innovation is ripping off Bitcoin's name to trick clueless new investor's into thinking somehow the two are related, it's a cut and paste job if ever there was one.

The fact is that an exchange owner is a big backer of the coin and his exchange has 99% of the volume, that is a giant huge red flag.

There is a community, a very small community of "pumpers", about 20 - 25 of them from Poloniex that will use every trick in the book to prey on other's gullibility and balloon the price of a coin.  This coin is still missing many of the basic building blocks even a beginner coin should have.  Take a couple of steps back and look real hard at what you are investing in and you will see that the coin's real value is close to 0.

When the best thing your coin holders have to crow about is how they have a multi-pool that is sad, look around, every coin has a multi-pool.

In fairness, I guess it is impressive you are on an exchange so early... oh wait.... yeah.

With all due respect, the "community" you speak of was just formed and we all joined forces and got an incredible amount of work done over the past few days. I have been working on this coin morning until night. We will have more out in the coming days and this coin will match the best of them.

I don't have a problem with making a point to investors, but you are massively underestimating the level of commitment the team is putting into this coin.

A motivator behind anything people do is for a profit, whether for enjoyment or monetary. Of course people holding this coin are working toward the end goal of profit. Are you suggesting that it would be better if we just purchased coin and stayed silent? I work adamantly for what I put my money into, I don't sit back and hope the sun shines on things one day. This is not a pump and dump and you will gain that trust in time.

However, I take your input as simply more motivation. You are right, if this coin is going to blow up - We need to do more work; Lets get on it everyone.

I think we should call you Mr. Sour Grapes Man. Do you plan to troll here, like you did on the comm thread too?

Insider IPO? I logged in 2 nights ago randomly, and there was tons of XBC available to anyone who was logged in, at .001. It lasted until the next afternoon. There was plenty of XBC to go around. The only insider IPO requirement was that you had to log into an exchange? It's hardly some giant exclusive, secretive thing.

I'll admit that it's not DEV's fault., I was just angry, It's just I worked hard to trade my way upto that amount of bitcoin, i'm not a person of means, and i've taken a massive hit now, it will take me ages to get it back.

Is there anything I can do? if you look at the bitcoin address I sent to, it hasn't even cleared, there's 28 conformation on one transaction, and 32 conformations on the other, so it's not like the thief has transferred them to another address.

Here's the blockchain info: https://blockchain.info/address/1JLmRoZ3NGEzderUzK6LkY1REfSkzYGNz

Anyone?

I dont think there's anything you can do about it. C-Cex and cryptorush both made off with mine. I know how it feels. You just have to to stick with the ones that are trustworthy. Just chalk it up to a valuable experience. Learn from it and get stronger.

This.. I'm really sorry some people got burned.. I've been robbed quite a few btc in the past.. Just got to live and learn, I always see these random exchanges in OPs but I don't move money into them until I trust them anymore.

Now that I have calmed down, I have realised that it's one of life's learning curves.

I need to work on my Karma so I would ask you to tell me your XBC adress. I could part with one. Stake it like a champ and you'll soon be back in business Smiley
I was staring at the IPO running out yesterday while waiting for my ^$%# ex-boss to wire me the money he still owed me so I know how it feels.

Wow thanks, your restoring my faith Grin there is good people out there too, thanks, i'll hold on to it until it's worth my losses: BB3xZdsTnQwQpBJeepf4zgxugGWgGsWrXr

I also noticed it when whale mentioned it. I am by no means a whale but when I saw the potential of it I liquidated half my online coin portfolio to buy over 1k coins. I had such a crap trading week I decided to take a risk and I alerted tons of peep on skype, on fb in the trollbox to take a look. Everyone had equal chance to buy and not only that the Committee was only formed when the DEV realized how big the coin got in popularity and when peeps were offering their service and assistance for the coin which = COMMUNITY. I also gave away a fair amount of coin yesterday too and if I do well trading.I will help more peeps and give out more coins.

I really wish I had done the same. Most of my coins are in Drk and I am really hesitant to liquidate them. And I'm a guppy-sized trader, so I may have a couple of btc in Drk, but that's sort of it, besides the recent freebie com/itc stakes (and a decent proportion of those were spent on Drk).

I did end up selling some of my itc stake + extra junk I had about, to get 100 coins during the ipo. Of course now I wish I just sold every stake I had leftover and got at least 500 or so. But I guess if we knew what to always do, we'd all be super rich by now.

I really like how it was set up on poloniex though. Anyone could get in at ipo prices, no need for escrow or some promise of future coins. Anyone could just log in and buy, so it seemed like a much more reliable and fair way to distribute than most ipo offerings.

Block Explorer Up And Running

I'm claiming the Block Explorer bounty.  I've had a good go at getting a block explorer up and running and have got something working - although with a few issues at the moment
http://xbcexplorer.cloudapp.net:2750/

You wouldn't believe how much time I spent trying to get abe running yesterday so I switched to the block explorer from Insight and finally got it running.  I feel I deserve a bounty for this, I spent about 10 hours doing this.

For instance here is the premined block of 100,000XBC.
http://xbcexplorer.cloudapp.net:2750/block/000003cd44fe61735b84c014d1354f82586448482abf203344a63be29c702eb9

The explorer allows you to go back/forth between blocks but you'll have to ignore the errors

Hopefully someone will come up with another block explorer and they also deserve a bounty

I'll PM the dev with my address

Yeah agreed with seriouscoin, continue you great job men !!! As a part of the community, ill be really active in social media and ill write to mintpall and cryptsy as seriouscoin proposed it !! By the way, if the price continue climbing, we gonna need bigger exchange to support it ! We gonna need to take decision about investing ipo btc to get on mintpall faster. We need to keep this momentum ( no dump at poloniex).

OK guys its been a wild ride watching the price but its time to get back to work. Lay down your ideas and give the community more to do! I have the week off and will be working myself to insanity

Currently:
-Twitter: https://twitter.com/BitcoinPlusXBC
-Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/BitcoinplusXBC
-Facebook group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/650350521704895/
-Subreddit: http://www.reddit.com/r/XBC/
***Please get active on these social network mediums, people notice the coin and we get the interest; which directly correlates to growth for us all.

-Multipool is live
-Blockchain explorer should be on and posted in the OP tonight
-Dev is making arrangements for what to do with the remainder of the unsold coins

-We have multiple users making graphics, website is in development. We need banners in all sizes, cool graphics, anything promotional to help the coin
-We need blog articles about this coin: perhaps covering the successful IPO, dramatic price and volume growth, and insanely active community.
-We have a youtube video in the making; would love to see these flying around
-I am working on a new write up for the OP to submit to dev, let me know what you think should be covered.
-We need casinos and games
-Physical products (I don't care if its keychains, shirts, Pokemon spinoff XBC playing cards.. Lets do it)

--------------------------------------------------------

Please reach out to [email protected] and [email protected] and show them your love for this coin, I will be making a thread on cryptsy support shortly if one doesn't exist. The volume is so high on poloniex theres no way they'll want to pass us up.

Keep the ideas coming folks! This coin is going to see announcement after announcement every day!

IPO = Initial Public Offering

Poloniex = Public exchange

Public exchange = Public distribution

Public distribution = Fair distribution

A richest wallets list would be hilarious to see for this coin, 20 Poloniex members holding 98% of the coin.

How do you become a poloniex.com member? Oh right its open to everyone. Perfectly fair. Stop crying.

Only if they are busy soaking up coins now, I watched the IPO from the start the buys between 1-50 coins were constant.. only a few people really bought in the multiple thousands

If we do giveaways, they should be for 1sat equivalent in XBC. No reason to hand out as much as 0.1. Let's keep the idea of scarcity in mind.

@Serious +1000 on the multipool!

@leigh2k14 -  That's all you can do is learn from it and move on... It sounds like you were doing really well with your investments.  KEEP IT UP and you will have it right back.  I completely empathize.  Funny , because it seems as though every single one of us has gotten taken at some point.  Hopefully never, ever again though if we stick with the exchanges that we know and trust.

I'm working on a program that will allow you to send a bullet through the blockchain to the recipient of the stolen money.

When I finalise it all I will give those who were scammed a free bullet in their wallet  Grin

Fair play man, I'm sure you'll dust yourself off and return to profits soon. It's always when things look the bleakest that I have a bit of luck so maybe the same will happen to you.
