I've desperately been trying to get this wallet up and running. I'm on v1.2.0.0-adgr with 0 active connections.. I've already tried deleting everyting (except wallet.dat) in the Bitstar roaming folder with no change. Any ideas for a brotha?
It seems it takes a while for it to find connections, just leave the wallet open it should find the nodes after a while.

Sorry work commitments have been manic, having a meeting with the others in the bitstar team in the next day or so to start moving things forward again though, will update you all asap.
Looking forward to the update - in the meantime continuing to buy Bitstar whenever I've got some spare funds

Wallet not syncing properly again.. and all i connect to is the 4 main nodes(and yes it is locked).. so either this is a glitch in my wallet (due to it happening many times before).. or there is something wrong with the nodes maybe? I dunno but I have never had to resync a wallet more than this one. sigh.. any chance someone can look into this or send me some good nodes that will get me back on track?

In case anyone-else has recently experienced delays depositing/withdrawing at Bittrex, here's the answer why:

I am confused.. I hard coded it to connect only to your 4 master nodes.. and that is all it is allowed to connect to.. now i have "misbehaved" it will only connect to the same 2 of 4 nodes and keeps disconnecting.. I will try again tomorrow to sync etc to see if I have been let back into the club.. but this is all a bit frustrating for me to handle instead of just opening a wallet and letting it do its thing.. not sure why I have to keep messing around with stuff and being blocked and resyncing and etc etc.. Is this a flaw in the design cause I am just trying to Open and Sync a wallet..It's not like I am trying to mess things up.. I open a wallet it should sync and then stake and that should be as hard as it gets.. sorry if i come across negative but I don't have constant time to babysit a wallet all the time.
Now you have encrypted the wallet, as long as you only unlock once synced, you shouldn't have this problem any more, and obviously its best practice to always encrypt your wallets anyway.
If you have missing coins once synced (another glitch caused by staking out of sync), just go to the debug console and type "repairwallet"

Wallet is screwing up "again" today.. I am only connected to the main 4 nodes only yet it wont properly sync and is doing that weird thing again that i get stakes yet am not synced.. this is probably the 5th time this has happened.. something is wrong with the main nodes can only connect to 2 out of the 4.. and not syncing properly.. will check back later to see when this is fixed.
You need to encrypt your wallet to stop it staking before your synced, if you try and stake before synced it causes mass orphans and gets your wallet banned from nodes for "misbehaving" This is standard for all POS wallet.
so if it is not encrypted this problem will keep happening.. how about adding this code to the wallet (if not synced then don't stake)..or is this outside of the means of programming a pos wallet.. I will encrypt it and see if that helps.. but I do not have these issues with other wallets.. just this one.. and as you can see from prior posts.. It happens too often.
Edit: Encrypted now but I am probably blocked like you said.. any way to get unblocked or is there a timer to unblocking me as still will not sync and only connecting to the main 4 nodes (only 2 will connect right now) stuck on this block 568391
We have added code to do this, but it requires your wallet to see a valid chain before you start staking, this doesn't always happen in time, not a lot we can do about it at that point. Regarding "misbehving" block, yes its just a timer, it should connect on its own again once its allowed, if you check debug log you'll see it cycling through known nodes.

New front end for the multipool is due today or tomorrow, its been written from scratch to give miners far more information

It's still a work in progress, as I still want to make the charts better and have everything load live via ajax, but it already shows a lot more than the old version.

I believe there will be an announcement soon about a major change in the coin's platform. The technical details are being finalised and then it will be be put to the community before implementation.
It is pretty creative and unique a proposition, so it needs to be prepared as, once announced, it can be put live quickly.
