How many ways are there to acquire Bolt? I see you can mine it, any other ways?

They're "paid" in BLT, same as any other miner is "paid" by whatever cryptocurrency they're mining.

Miners aren't "paid." Bolt tokens have no intrinsic value, aren't backed by anything, aren't securities, and don't promise the holder any benefits or future profits.

Miners can earn BLT rewards when they provide Producers with goods. Once the Producer receives the goods, they send the BLT to the Miner.

Miners can also earn BLT through the affiliate program. You earn BLT every time someone you invite finishes registration. You also earn a percentage of their earnings. However, the number of people who can enter the top level of the affiliate program is limited, so you should sign up at join.bolt.bz now to be notified as soon as the closed beta is available.

You picked the right project!  We're very excited about Bolt and the economy it will soon foster.  Bolt came from a very simple consideration: How can we solve the governance and ecosystem issues with Bitcoin?  This led to a reflection on the current state of the cryptocurrency ecosystem, with its bloated transaction speeds, high costs, and security issues.  Bolt was designed to address these issues and others, taking the best of some of the top currencies and combining them into a new product.  You can read more about our process and the finer details of Bolt's tech in our whitepaper at http://bolt.bz/whitepaper.

Why build an economy for Producers?  We believe the best way to encourage people to adopt a cryptocurrency is to get people making real products.  The unique makeup of Bolt, being PoS but still minable through the interaction of Producers and Miners, is the perfect means by which to build a usable, community-engaged economy piece by piece.  We believe a grant-based system is the perfect means to this end as it allows individuals to choose which projects to spend their capital on, while demonstrating BLT's speed, feeless transactions, and anonymity capabilities.  Sign up at join.bolt.bz for future announcements!

First, keep in mind the legal environment. We have to be very careful about what is allowed and what is not to make sure that we are in full compliance with the law. Fundamentally, Bolt is a philanthropic project and you should not be getting involved if you are looking to make a quick buck.

We'll have a promotional bounty campaign for you to join in the coming weeks where you can earn some BLT. Right now, we need to build up a small core dedicated community of individuals to demonstrate that there is interest in the project. If you sign up and join the chat, you will be notified when opportunities are available.

We also are offering an affiliate program for Miners, if you read the post. This will begin in Spring of 2019.

Check out the whitepaper for more details on how BLT will be allocated towards marketing. Any community member can create a DFO (a non profit) for promoting Bolt. DFOs are funded in a competitive processes by the community. Once a DFO receives a Bolt grant, they can give some of that BLT to their sponsors. However, the operators of the DFO need to be compliant with all local laws and regulations.

Several of our community members already have promotional/marketing DFOs planned. These include activities such as events, digital promotion, bounty campaigns, and community outreach. We're lucky that several of the community members have previous experience with marketing other tech and crypto startups.

How will you make advertising for your platform if there wont be any token sale,  no ico and i guess no bounty campaign?

We've redefined mining to adapt to the PoS era. In Bolt, Miners earn BLT by helping Producers. This can be as simple as ordering stuff online to be delivered to Producers to they can create their product. This allows the community to create a fair distribution of BLT to people who have made a real contribution to the project. When you're mining BLT, you're not just earning tokens, you're helping build the future economy.

Do I need to be whitelisted to participate in the token sale? If so, how can I get started with that?

Very interesting project. I've never seen something like this trying to set up an entire economy. How'd you come up with the idea?
