Why isn't it possible to set stratum diff multiplier/divider? It's important with autoswitching...

Don't pools (that support this) allow this through the password field or something like that?

I've moved back to dstm for now - not because of performance (I think there are both positive and negative reports with bminer, so many variables, etc) but because there's not really enough transparent communication. I was super keen and supportive here, but I'm pulling back. I didn't notice any particularly nefarious activity, for those who are wondering.

bminer seems like a solid & stable miner, and I suspect that realbminer thinks he/she's been open and transparent enough, but it's obviously not open enough; people have real questions that aren't being answered. Maybe the random connections are all about devfees and are legit, but then again, maybe not. There have been valid concerns raised by others that I don't feel have been adequately addressed.

I'll definitely keep tabs on this project though. Lots of potential. Good luck with the community management, realbminer! I think if there's improvement on that front, you'll see a major uptake on bminer.

after windows update or new drivers miner starts and the window closes. With all versions of bminer/ What happened? 0.3.4 miner works fine as usual.
Run it on command promp so you have the error message

After long testing, with the fee, and without the fee i receive less hashrate on the poolside than EWBF. The API and CMD prompt show over 10% higher hashrate than the average on the pool. This was using 24 and 48 hour averages reading from the pool tested on multiple pools. Also seems that BMiner will randomly drop heavily in hashrate for 30 to 90 minutes then recover back to normal.

@realbminer not saying this miner is a Trojan horse, but it was working ok for many hours then in the night suddenly it started using all my hash for miners using it "Bminer 5.4" to mine somewhere else with IP address amazon compute(i.e. hosted by amazon) and some other places there was no change on the console nor was there a disconnect from the miner just that all shares found where going else where and my pool address share rate went to zero for about 30-60 minutes though miners where mining for all systems using the miner.

That is miner was mining for someone else for 30-60 minutes(not fee mining), this could have been triggered remotely by you as the miner appears shady, you need to explain, also there maybe a back door author uses to access mining machines using windows RDP (I had to disable this as passwords no longer accepted on some systems for RDP sessions)

@realbminer needs to adress this question but you also need to show the logs showing this. This is your first post so as you can imagine one can question it as well

The miner appears to have a backdoor or some sort of remote control where author "@realbminer" can selectively control clients that use his miner "bminer" where to direct hash from 0 to 100 % as he sees fit; you are not going to see it in logs, only external tools that monitor the process remote connections it initiates will detect this, the console is to only fool you. I will try and capture a picture when it makes a connection, he appears to trigger it when he thinks no one is watch i.e. miner as been mining for a long time no starts or stops, he then directs what ever percentage to an amazon compute host while completely ignoring your pool and switches back as he sees fit, I think for a 1080 Ti the miner may hash around 780-800+ and he only gives you about 750 and controls a lot of things, he knows this is true that is why pros are not using his miner, he is a devious criminal.

Please bring proofs... A screenshot is not proof of what you are saying.
I ran bminer for a while and did not see any issue on 4 rigs with 6 cards each.
You are the second person with one single post giving such information. Doesn't sound legit to me but more like a witch hunt

how can i find out if the miner is correct or a scam?

i started using Bminer and i heard many good and bad things about it but i think the numbers on the miner are not accurate

here is a test i ran for exactly 24 hours of mining

6X ZOTAC 1070 AMP EX
GPUs are OCd to 450 memory clock and 70 core clock with 120 power 100 volt
TEMP at 50~60

i mined ZCASH using BMINER @ 3100 sols 3.1KHs
every gpu was giving me over 500 sols and some ran at 520 sols
using miningpoolhub

i only mined .02708199 ZCASH ( around 11$ with current rate)
what to mine showed around 14~15$ by that time in 24h
the miner never stoped and never crashed it ran for a straight 24hours

is what i mined accurate?

i like bminer because its very stable and can handle the OC but i dont want to lose or see fake numbers while using it

so what do you think about it?

Very good result, especially efficiency sol/watt!
Can You share yours VGA settings: what vendor GTX1080 do you have? What is the actual core/memory clocks and core voltage during the mining, nvidia driver version?
Thanks!)

Results from the miner are meaningless.  You should compare data from your pool to determine true output.

tested 3 hours on suprnova , mining ZCL dident found a single block . But miner shows workers on

scam
Now that's a reliable test lol...
Have you looked at the share rate, has suprnova found a block during that time, how many workers to you have ?
