I have a recurring problem where bminer hangs, and keeps the GPUs going at full power as if they were working - but zero shares are submitted.
As soon as the console window has a key pressed in it, the program will print the error message and exit, but until that - it sits at the "INFO - received job" message. This is every time this error happens.
Options to bminer:

Are my flags set improperly? I was getting the same behaviour with watchdog true - I was hoping to just exit as soon as the error happened and then the batch script could loop and run it again - but since bminer never exits, it won't restart.

I tested 24 hours on the flypool. Compared to EWBF, it can get 2.7% more shares as shown in the miners. So if you consider the 2% fee, it is 0.7% more than EWBF.
I use the 1080Ti.

I am using Bminer for Equihash and on my Rig I have 2 GPUs (No.1 I use it for mining, No.2 I want to game on it)
What is the command which I need to write in the bat. file so I can use only 1 for mining?

e.g. say MSI Afterburner shows have a 1080ti in position 1 and a 1070ti in position 2 and 3, and I want to do my mining on the 1080ti, my command line would have the option -devices=0 (Afterburner starts counting from 1, but devices start counting from 0, so device 0 is shown as 1 in Afterburner, dev 1 is 2, dev 2 shown as 3, etc. If I wanted to mine on both 1070ti's and game on the 1080ti, my command switch would be "-devices=1,2"

I just ran a test using 2 - Zotac 1080 Ti minis. They were doing ~594 and 600 Sols each using DSTM. With bminer the console was showing +20 Sols EACH without any other changes. The last 4 hours in Nanopool my hash rate is tending lower than with DSTM. Reported shares per hour are also down 
This miner looks stable and I'm interested in the project, but NOT when it's incorrectly reporting and sacrificing profits.
I don't mind so much that it phones home, provided that communication is clearly documented and that it WILL NEVER block the miner from working. The devfee is limiting as well. If you want to lure miners and get tons of people using your software 1% devfee would make you more than enough money in the end and be equitable overall. I don't mind paying for software, but dev, test, support doesn't equal 2% of every workers output forever.
The only thing a high devfree does is drives miners to use other products.

I'd like to see those stats for excavator, keep up the good work. Its well built, im pretty sure reporting is accurate and overall speeds should be pretty good.
Just started up Bminer 5.4.0 allowing devfee, so lets see what a week can do there. :-)

I've been running two tests for a week each, on nanopool.
First with Bminer and then with DSTM, and a few hours ago I switched to excavator 1.4.4a, and I'll run that till next Sunday to compare.
I completely ignored miner/pool stats for Sols, and instead focused on Shares and Payments as reported by nanopool.
Since they are paying me for my shares, I have to accept that their numbers are what matters.
Now, I only have a single Asus 1070, not OC'd nor undervolted or any of that fancy stuff, and it's in a regular gaming rig. Now, I didn't (rarely do) play any games during this period, and my box is on and mines 24/7, no matter what I do. It's an i7-6700K, 32 GB RAM, with SSDs. Now, I said no gaming, but I use it every day for a couple of hours, surfing and what-not, including watching movies with Kodi, streaming 720p/1080p content from NAS over local Gbit network. My external network is 1000/100 Mbit and rock solid.
Neither of the miners have caused any troubles for my machine, and I've only noticed that DSTM needed to restart itself a bunch of times during the week. If I remember correctly, Bminer ran without any problems. I rarely restart my computer, but it happens. Same with the miners. If they were ever closed, it was only for a few minutes during the entire week.
My conclusion?
Well, darn near identical results, with a slight edge for DSTM.
Initially, I ran Bminer with devfee and the later days with the -nofee option. I never noticed any difference in Sols, and don't know if it ever affected shares/payments.
Stats in a shared Google Sheets here .
Next week, I'll add numbers for excavtor.

You're not alone, several people have reported the same problem on their Windows computer, myself included.
Silence from dev. I wouldn't bother with bminer, dstm is more trustworthy and plenty fast.

Hey @realbminer, I've been using this miner for a while and have noticed one thing. If I run multiple instances for separate graphics cards in parallel, both of them receive the same jobs and only one of them is able to add to the share count at a time. Is this something expected or is it a bug? Overall I'm seeing fluctuations in the hash rate reported at miningpoolhub when using bminer but same is the case when using DSTM as well. Not sure why this would happen either. I'm on a direct fiber connection with blazing fast internet speed so not sure what's causing this.

One question to dev :
When i started bminer, the CPU load goes up to 100 for one minute.
It's not a big deal but other miner do not act like this.
Any idea why ? Is it something you can work on ?

Yes, many initialization operations are CPU intensive. This is a known issue and I am working on it. I will try to alleviate this CPU spike in future releases.
