Can someone point me to a link to a whitepaper for this coin? Can't seem to find it or maybe I'm just blind.

In general, we can say that a lot of money now goes to the crypto-currencies. But still there is a feeling that there can be a big fall.
There will always be a big fall when this is still 98% speculation. Adoption must occur for there to be any hope of stability.

If I have ~ 2K bitsends its worth to send coins to the hard wallet for staking? Or maybe this is low amount to get normal reward?

We are halfway there, we have 492 members, I wonder why these people are not voting for BSD at Nova exchange, this should be mandatory to this members, they are getting paid through airdrop and yet they won't do anything? What a shame

Voted on Nova Exchange to add BSD. I'm looking forward to acquire a masternode, good entries are showing up

Why is it necessary (any more than it has already occurred)?
I'm interested also in learning upon which foundations these statements stand. Here, I'll say this of myself: if those involved in that 1000% gain over the last few months were planning to sell entirely... why would I be here, saying what I am saying? An answer in a question.
Expected because all markets do this during growth whether they are heavily manipulated or naturally grown.
Necessary because I would suspect that those who accumulated enough to benefit from pump sold as much as they wanted and now the waiting begins for demand to come around again if people believe the market is worth it.
Basic trading stuff here. Either people interested in pumping more will do so when they have accumulated more coins at these levels, or enough people will like the project to create that elusive buying pressure that you are looking for.
As long as the Dev team keeps working towards improvements or adoption, there is no reason this coin cannot continue upward growth. Timing is the wild card.
The best sign is that the market settled well after such a hard pump. They often make or break coins. Does not look like it broke this one.

People who may want to push this down the road are just letting it sleep for now. Just not enough buy pressure from anyone else at the moment. Have to wait for next push down the road. It will come for BSD. Good coin for many reasons, not the least of which is people who want to raise the price.
There IS big buy pressure! I have bought 25000 BSD personally. Other anonymous bittrex users have bought at least 10x that amount, in the last 10 days. You planed, even started lifting off. Until about 18 hrs ago when someone decided to go on a selling rampage. Doesn't seem like "not enough buy pressure" to me.
Ok, where is it then? Price is not rising. Lots of money at levels this will not dump to is not pressure, it is show. If there was pressure, the price would be rising. I am not being negative, just realistic. These coins go in cycles. Lots of profit made on this one already. It is just taking a breather! It will start again when the time comes.
It is because nobody is willing to give up their BSD for a lower price! We fought hard for it.
Look at the sell order list. It is extremely scarce up until around .000075.
Who would want to run that up?
I am telling you: .000075 you think is high? Screw that, pardon, but no. .2 is high. .5 is high. .05 even may be high. But .000075? Like a miniscule dot along the x-axis of the market chart 4 years out from now, in my eyes.
I have some with which I am running an mn. I have some with which I am willing to sell for a lower price than I bought, but not a lot. That is all I personally have purchased. All the rest is others. We are strong. People, don't be fooled into immediately selling!
Place sell orders for others and myself to fill if you really want out.
