guys, any masternode setup guide on vps under Linux which works?
found one from feb 2016... seems little bit outdated.
It is not outdated if you are talking about this post: http://bitsend.info/forums/index.php?topic=5.0. It has some unnecessary information (e.g. information on how to compile within the main content of the post) and needs to be re-written. However, the procedure should be the same (more or less at least). Feel free to ask us for help on Slack if you are stuck.
***
Install LIMX
------------
mkdir .bitsend
cd .bitsend
wget http://sourceforge.net/projects/bitsend [correct link not avaible]
unzip limx-linux64.zip - file does not exist

$ sudo cp bitsendd /usr/bin
$ sudo chmod 775 /usr/bin/bitsendd

Create abitsend.conf in nano
-------------------------------
cd .limecoinx - directory does not exist
nano

***
just to name few...
also architecture is not clear at all, many components are there which are not there in other projects, small comments were extremely helpful to understand e.g. for what I need LIMX???

*****************
other question: how to start wallet under Linux???
dependencies are not fulfilled. small readme file would solve all unnecessary requests, guys it is not serious.

This guide was outdated. I have tries to fix all errors.

Regarding the Nvidia miner, the code (still WIP) is available here: https://github.com/LIMXTEC/xevan_ccminer. The miner has not been compiled for windows, and requires testing by people who have Nvidia graphic cards.

At least it gives late to the party people like me time to mine more. Smiley Hoping to finally break 1000 BSD soon. Wish i had enough for a Masternode, but what ya gonna do.
It is never too late. Mining alone is a long way to a masternode, buying it from an exchange will save you a lot of time.

Nova is low volatility sucks
You probably meant volume or something similar. I find it useful to get BSD listed on more exchanges, regardless of their volume.

Voting this, hope to see BitSend at more exchangers  Smiley

BTW, this is novaexchange.
Great idea! Could you PM me the link for this vote (so I don't have to look for it)? I think a small supporter campaign for this would be nice and would get us listed very quickly.

This is the link for voting on nova exchange: https://www.novaexchange.com/addcoin/

I voted too. Now it's 78/250.

My wallet info say 260 masternode?
Maybe there is an issue on your side, or some masternodes were taken offline in the meantime/crashed.

Im wondering why the volume of this coin is so low. It has all ingredients which other top 100 coins have also
Something like that is really hard to answer. Sometimes the coin achieves pretty decent volume, on other days not as much.

Because someone pumped all the masternode coins and now taking profits.  It will come back.  Eventually.....
It's still that person with ~100k coins that is pushing it down, but the price short term is not as relevant even though I'd like to see it around 10k satoshi.

BSD is being deeply down. The price is returning back at 0.00005xxbtc .
Perhaps This is good time to buy and hold it for a while before there will be a increase action .
I am not concerned with the short term price of a coin, as I have never been concerned about the short term price of Bitcoin either (although I comment occasionally). The network is actually stronger than ever as far as masternodes are concerned. There are currently 300 masternodes online: http://www.mybitsend.com/#Masternodes

BTC is at 1830 $ !!!
There's also this. Considering the price of Bitcoin, BSD would be adequately price around 10k Satoshis, which would put it above $2m market cap. I assume some people exited in favor of Bitcoin, and due to the thin market book, the price went down.

I voted for BSD on Novaexchange, but I was wondering will it really help? BSD is already on Bittrex, a far bigger exchange than Nova.
Exchanges are important for diversification and liquidity. Some people do not use Bittrex, some do not use Novaexchange, some use both.
