We have new seeders!

You can update your bitcoinz.conf
Code:
addnode=btzseed.blockhub.info
addnode=dnsseed.kemperink.org
addnode=seeder.nomadteam.net
addnode=btcz.webrats.com
addnode=btcz.es
addnode=seed.btcz.life

Seeders are very important in decentralization. If you have server you can run seeder and help with the decentralization: https://github.com/bitcoinz-pod/bitcoinz/issues/12
Is Tor nodes available?
similar addnode=zcash2iihed2wdux.onion

We need TOR nodes folks!
Anyone would like to start node and post onion address? https://github.com/bitcoinz-pod/bitcoinz/issues/13

Setup TOR nodes guide from ZENCash team - https://github.com/aayanl/zenontor

We need many TOR nodes. We will be fully decentralized with TOR nodes guys.

Is for a Linux TOR node an SSD with 32 GB size good enough or do we need a larger SSD size?
32 GB enough
  • when you open the wallet, it will download proving keys(900 MB, fixed, will not increase, into "ZcashParams" folder)
  • after, it will downlod BTCZ blockchain(~300 MB now, wil increase, into "BitcoinZ" folder)

Thank you.
I have tried to calculate the max block chain size of the 21 bill BTCZ.
((21 bill/12500) * 2MB)/1024 ~ 12500 GB/1024 ~ 12 TB
Is that correct or I'm wrong? Sorry, this is all new to me.
Thanks for further help.
For now I've ordered an INTEL NUC7i3 with 32 SSD to have a cheap and independent node server.
Will install Ubuntu 17.04 and setup a TOR node. Ready next week.

I think, a new exchange
Do you have any information about it?

Getting there would be a really good idea.

Just look what happened to Bitcore (BTX), since it got there!

Just look here what could be very interesting for BTCZ

https://cryptocoincharts.info/markets/info

or here

https://coinmarketcap.com/exchanges/volume/24-hour/

 Grin
What do you mean? Why it is interesting? Is it time for buying more or selling all BitcoinZ in portfolio?

What i mean is looking at the volume of every exchanges and which one where it would be possible to be referenced and where there is the best total of volume to hope a bigger exchange volume for btcz than the one we have today on Cryptopia or cryptobroker or C-CEX. Volume is very low in these Exchanges so we can't expect a big exchange volume for btcz if we don't register it on bigger places.

We have to be realistic and keep in mind that it's just the beginning of Btcz, big exchanges will not trust in it if we don't show something innovative and interesting enough to invest in.

So target a big enough exchange, not too big because it will be in a short future impossible and not too small because it will bring nothing better like C-CEX.

On these websites we have the stats of every coins on every exchanges so there are probably exchanges more interesting for altcoins like Btcz.

I hope my english is good enough to be understandable.

I will keep mining on Suprnova. When the donation website is online I will think of my contribution.
Here is the pool with the supporting project https://pool.miningspeed.com, it works well, an honest pool, more profitable than suprnova.cc by 7-15%, crediting to the wallet after 100 confirmations - about 4.5 hours

hi, how do you calculated that you earn 7-15% more? this is just assuption or did you test it? becouse as i understand, it shoud all pool give you the same ammount of coin, different is only a % of fee they have (that is in theory on long run), ofcoure if pool do not steal in the behind. differend is laso paying mathod and bigger pool,less share, more time payments and smaller pools, less payments , but bigger one. and in the and it should be equal right?

i was happy with suprnova, mostly i get more or it looks more. I moved only becouse of community donation. if suprnova had that, i would never leave. most people like to have trusted pool and new pool has to gain trust and it takes time, that miner moved.

i will really like, that you explain your better % gain in that pool vs. suprnova pool. thx

Today, the price of BitcoinZ stay at 45 satoshi, then it creates significant impacts on diff.
https://btczexplorer.blockhub.info/
Good luck, and happy mining.
The fall of difficulty is good for miners. I will closely follow the difficulty movements of BitcoinZ and might switch my rigs to the coin at the right time. Manage and calculate to ratio between diff, rewards per block, and current price are one of the most important factors that you should take into account before deciding to mine any crypto-coins. Good luck, everyone.
Let's mine BitcoinZ at the moment due to its extremely low diff recent weeks.

then its true? because the profit is huge!!! how i can calculate the exact difficult? i have to put manually in whattomine?

I think cryptopia could be a good move for us,we have seen the damage C-CEX has done with there crap Exchange you couldn’t buy BitcoinZ there even if you wanted to,we have been plagued by problems for users trying to buy coins since release with deposits not showing up for weeks in some cases and withdrawals taking days on the other two exchanges available to us,what we need is a good exchange to buy and sell BitcoinZ and this should be our main priority going forward.

Hi all,

I have been away a few days and I come back a lot has changed. Is MyBitcoinZ wallet ok to continue with?

No, you need to change to the windows wallet before the 28th , as the person running the online wallet is closing it down.
I want to know how to change my windows wallet? Can you tell me? I am a new learner, so I will have many questions. Thank you.

Hello  Smiley

The simple safe way is to create a new BTCZ address with the windows wallet :

1 : https://github.com/bitcoinz-pod/bitcoinz-wallet/releases => download the lastest, install and synchro it (around 163 Mo actually) : you will have a new BitcoinZ address
2 : Send a little BTCZ to your new address for testing, then send all if ok

Dont forget to switch your address in rigs

Thanks for the guides to follow with the update the wallet

I advise you to study the basics of cryptology , and do not write any rubbish , funny
