To transfer your MyBitcoinZ CoPay wallet to the swing wallet follow the steps below:

1. Open MyBitcoinZ and go to settings
2. Click your wallet under Wallets & Integrations
3. At the bottom click More Options then click "Export Wallet"
4. It will require you to put in a password, enter a password and select Download
5. Save the .json file somewhere safe
6. Open .json file with notepad

7. Navigate to https://bitwiseshiftleft.github.io/sjcl/demo/
8. Copy and paste .json file contents into Ciphertext box
9. Enter Password into the Password text box
10. Click the "Decrypt" arrow above the Ciphertext box
11. In the box that says Plaintext, find where it says xPrivKey and copy the key - ie, copy the bold portion :: "xPrivKey":"xprv9s21ZrQH143K4AQUJKjefk34jdlfkdf99383kjfkJFwkfjekJkaeipqFKKEM3434"
12. Navigate to https://bip32jp.github.io/english/
13. Copy xPrivKey into BIP32 Extended Key
14. Select BIP 44 k'th account i'th keypair (receive) from the Derivation Path dropdown
15. Typically Account and Keypair Index will be 0, if you've used any but the first public address assigned to you by MyBitcoinZ wallet, you'll have to change this. I'll explain how to figure that out below.
16. Copy the field Private Key (WIF)
17. Open swing wallet, click Wallet dropdown, import one private key and paste the Private Key (WIF) into the input box

If you're not using the first address given to you by MyBitcoinZ wallet
1. All the information is the same except when you navigate to the website in step 12
2. You'll find your Wallet Addresses under "Wallet Addresses" under Settings -> More Options
3. Find the wallet address you need, you'll see xpub/0/1, xpub/0/2, etc. The last number is what you'll put into Keypair index on the website in step 12 which will recover the funds from that wallet address into your swing wallet

so..... swing wallet is BitcoinZ wallet 1.1.0_1.2 GUI?

yes

and cannot we just send the balance in the MyBitcoinZ Wallet directly to BitcoinZ GUI Wallet if so and skip the slightly complicated steps above??

yes, you can

People need to stop making fork after fork after damn fork. BTCZ brings nothing new to the table. Yea okay it has no premine, dev fee, and it's community driven (OOOOHHH watch out world) yada yada yada. It uses the same equihash algorithm that was realeased over a year ago and simply has a coin multiplier of 1000X compared to ZCL (and look where that project ended LOL). This coin is destined for failure. You can't simply copy something with slight modification, make it "community driven" and BOOM success. Not how things work. Altcoins have been dying in a scary pace with Bitcoin crushing the marketcap. Careful where you invest guys.

This is a community coin, this means the community can contribute and bring the coin up on the market. The projects is still very much alive and there is alot of hashpower mining BTCZ.

One dev left, and sold his BTCZ.

- This is currently happening right now.

- Migrating to new servers so we can still run the mybitcoinzwallet. Once servers are completed this will be announced again.
- Easy node install package with guide, more nodes comming up.
- Oneclick miner (Would like to se this, and im looking for help to get it working)

Dont forget, this all happend over 2 months course, and we are a community, so if you think you can help or have toughts on future products, wallets, functions etc just post it, devs are still working alot here and i dont see why people stress.

There is no point in selling a coin that was just 1 cent new fresh PoW coin and start selling it of now, why dont you just chill, nothing is going down here, this is one of the most active communty coins ive seen and everyone in the slack channel is contributing with what they can. Have some fait and bring the community togheter, if we work togheter everyone will be happy and get paid in the end Smiley

What's the best way to setup the BitcoinZ wallet for Windows? Do it like this way or just sending the coins to your new address?

Why did Anthony shot down the wallet? That is another bad decision because leaving a project does not mean destroying whatever functions you have built-in it. Such dev who does not consider the impact of the investors that once believed in him before removing the wallet, wants to start a new coin? Good luck with his future investors. Such dev is not reliable for me to invest a penny in his future projects.

He may be a good guy but he created a bad reputation for himself with his departure and his poor decisions.

Well said. People will not forget that when he starts a new coin. What comes around goes around.

I've been mining this hard, and lurking here for a few days.

It's best these events and changes happen now while we are young.  I've been around long enough to see these type events cause strength in the early days and chaos in the latter.

Best just to move on and continue growing this coin and community.

Devs:   Are there any other forms of assistance aside from donation that the community can provide at this time?

Looking forward to seeing where we can take this.

What happen to this coin? Too bad  Undecided

Nothing YET, but something will happen if people keep posting this sort of messages.

Community already came back strong just as Dev Team (with all the transparency), so please stop adding salt to nothing but hysterical.
