Do not understand.
Anthony leaves the coin. All right, though we owe him a lot. He put in 4BTC. It was his own decision. Why would anyone want to repay this? We have voted the necessary changes, so why not do it? What's the White Paper? Scripture? If the community wants to change, we need to change it. Without the right funds, development will be slow, and no one is interested in it. There needs to be a major development fund for the developers, and they spend it cleanly and transparently after official polls. What's so hard on this? Do not do this. There is no need for the whole community to say that donation is donation donation. Let's put system,  permanent, automated donations, even if we did not start this way. Everyone would return in the near future. Let the forum talk about what we spend for example 500 000 BTCz per week. Why do we stick to the White Paper? If you transparently, fraudulently vote for whatever the community is, whatever is in the White Paper. Be that what the community wants. Always!

Do not be amateurs to do this once and then to the opposite. Collect money for developers they spend on the votes based on meaningful things, transparently. At this point, growth would be quick, donations would come back to the donator for the rise in exchange rates.

It would be necessary for our developers to release a joint statement that what we are going to do now and eliminate it is that there is no clear path. It would be good if they were always talking together. You would sign all the major devs for all the statements, and then we just need to vote on what to go for the money.

Funding should be raise to a higher level because it will be slow.
Voting is enough for 3 days, so much time for those who want to vote, unnecessarily slow down development.

Need to increase automatic donation! This is the most important. Too much energy is time to collect money. It's in everyone's interest.

I would like to ask for a substantive answer to what has been said.

Come on, guys, do not waste much work so far! If you do, BTCZ can go to the moon!

Sorry for my english, google is also developing! Smiley

Yeh one dev is leaving to start his own coin and we wish him well, good luck Anthony! Unfortunately he is closing down his wallet but BitcoinZ will move on and become stronger, there will be no changes and everything will stay same for good or bad but let’s stay strong and support BitcoinZ

Thanks for support!
We believe in decentralization. No one is central bank here.
If you change consensus you end up with new coin.
say MyBitcoinZ wallet, will be closed?
on which purse is it safe to store coins?
BitcoinZ Wallet 1.1.0-1.2? but there is a warning that this is also not safe! where to store coins?
All you need is store your private key in a safe place, nothing else, no body can make coins in your wallet disappear w/o PK!

I don´t get it. The community voted, but the team is not willing to respect a decision ?, isn´t this a community projec ? or is community just to beg for funds all day and show the middle finger when we ask???. I´m sorry for my donations and mining this things honestly.

And then, it happends the guy that codes the wallet (That´s the only decent tech this thing have), who happends is also this Anthony guy that puts his own 4 bitcoin for exchange listing, is leaving the project and closing the wallet for something new?? i´m out 2, pity for my looses and leason learner.

You nailed it.

Soo from day.1 i was mining the coin, reading the ann posts.

IMHO this is the first real "test" for the community and we failed. People started talking about doing some stuff that was not in alliance with the whitepaper. You cant change stuff with wich you "bought" and got peoples interest. Halfing was put to a vote without really taking into account is it posible at the moment. Chill, take a few steps and realize the obvious.
This is a really decentralized coin we can see that in various aspects of the development. It is 70 days old for God's sake, I see no real problems with functioning as it was. I would and i am guessing many others would like a little more "transparency" to what is really going on. Just a few lines a day would keep an investor calm.

To get to the c-cex point.
If they give Anthony back the money and delist the coin it would be a dissaster for them. They would lose trust in future coinlist payers. I dont think that they would be open to keep a coin listed for 2 weeks and then delist it because the guy who paid 4 btc decided it hasnt paid off as he expected. It would be just a sharade. I dont thing c-cex will do it.

I didnt sell and i wont sell my btcz as i am sure many others wont and didnt. People got greedy and frustrated because they didnt get a wagon of money in 70 days. Get realistic. NO PREMINE, NO DEV FEE, NO ICO and the coin is doing GREAT with the hard work from the community and the steady stearing from the devs. I see no real problems.

Btcz is a strong coin with a very active community i really do think it will payoff in the "long" run. We just have to work together and have PATIENCE.

I woulnd be that much sad/happy/scared because a developer left...it happens we move on.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT #1

Please read original POST about MyBitcoinZ Wallets.  The developer for these wallets claims he will leave the wallets node / server that is required for these wallets to run available until November 28th.

He left everything for us to get them back up and running but we need to provision the infrastructure for this.  Several people have reached out to me to help get this going and we will get them back and working.

Please note these wallets are not the project, but they are a very beautiful part of it.  There are hundreds of nodes running that have a copy of the blockchain, and that is the core of the project.

We are going to try and keep the MyBitcoinZ wallets going, as I mentioned, the dev that ported the wallets left a package for us to run to be able to run them.  We are not sure what his intentions are for the app that submitted on the Google Play store, but we will work to find someone that can help submit that as well.  We will eventually need a core dev to help maintain this version or offer another solution.  Regardless we're moving on.

The dev of these wallets also paid for the C-Cex listing and he said he will have C-Cex delist BTCZ and list his own coin that he is developing - part of this fee was paid from the community fund in the amount of 231,000 BTCZ - which to some is nothing.  If C-Cex is going to engage in that type of behavior - then we are better off without them.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT #2

Part of the proposal that was ongoing had to do with funding - and we received overwhelming support in favor of creating a community chest.  This created a lot of meaningful discussion in the community and this is what we need.  A very alive community that does care for the future of the coin and its vision.  However, that point is now moot and regardless we need to continue.

So adhering to the original vision, we cannot implement the community chest - even though we had support for it - nor is the halving going to occur on this chain.  However that still leaves us with the need for funding.

Equipool https://equipool.1ds.us/ has lowered the fee but still donating to community support - so if you showed support for the community chest and we can't implement it - show your support by pointing to Equipool.  That is how we can help make it.  The mining rounds raised a little over 31,000 BTCZ - hey its something but we need a lot more.  Please show your support in this way.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT #3

We are organizing efforts here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1yckFfnaPtQiZvACSggenK-CkiSJgje5cACC-EQ-gGzQ/edit

Fill in how you would like to help - we have noticed OVERWHELMING support!  We need more.

BTCZ will live on.

To transfer your MyBitcoinZ CoPay wallet to the swing wallet follow the steps below:

1. Open MyBitcoinZ and go to settings
2. Click your wallet under Wallets & Integrations
3. At the bottom click More Options then click "Export Wallet"
4. It will require you to put in a password, enter a password and select Download
5. Save the .json file somewhere safe
6. Open .json file with notepad

7. Navigate to https://bitwiseshiftleft.github.io/sjcl/demo/
8. Copy and paste .json file contents into Ciphertext box
9. Enter Password into the Password text box
10. Click the "Decrypt" arrow above the Ciphertext box
11. In the box that says Plaintext, find where it says xPrivKey and copy the key - ie, copy the bold portion :: "xPrivKey":"xprv9s21ZrQH143K4AQUJKjefk34jdlfkdf99383kjfkJFwkfjekJkaeipqFKKEM3434"
12. Navigate to https://bip32jp.github.io/english/
13. Copy xPrivKey into BIP32 Extended Key
14. Select BIP 44 k'th account i'th keypair (receive) from the Derivation Path dropdown
15. Typically Account and Keypair Index will be 0, if you've used any but the first public address assigned to you by MyBitcoinZ wallet, you'll have to change this. I'll explain how to figure that out below.
16. Copy the field Private Key (WIF)
17. Open swing wallet, click Wallet dropdown, import one private key and paste the Private Key (WIF) into the input box

If you're not using the first address given to you by MyBitcoinZ wallet
1. All the information is the same except when you navigate to the website in step 12
2. You'll find your Wallet Addresses under "Wallet Addresses" under Settings -> More Options
3. Find the wallet address you need, you'll see xpub/0/1, xpub/0/2, etc. The last number is what you'll put into Keypair index on the website in step 12 which will recover the funds from that wallet address into your swing wallet

if therealhellomoto will start a new coin I will support that because from the start he is very active and he care more about the BTCZ compare to other dev. I got his point and I support him.

I started to loose faith in BTCZ because there is no systematic plan and there's no good communication between developer.
this kind of community will not last. no wonder the price starts to drop.

Any luck with the getting the Linux based wallet to work?

I tried the BitcoinZ Wallet 1.1.0_1.2 and tried to install the downloaded .deb file. It fails on bitcoinz dependency failure.

Installed the Android wallet, UI looks great. Any problems with the mobile wallet so far?

Thanks

Guys I installed this new wallet
https://github.com/bitcoinz-pod/bitcoinz-wallet/releases/tag/1.1.0_1.2

on my D drive but it installed the wallet wallet.dat file on my C:\Users\Desktop\AppData\Roaming\BitcoinZ directory.  Why the heck does it install it on my C drive?  How can I change this?  If my PC blows up then I am screwed.
Can I change this directory to another drive or does it have to be on my C drive?
