what about the 1080TI? compared?

Which video card has the best price / value ratio for BTCZ mining? There is solar energy, so consumption does not matter.

NVIDIA GTX 1070Ti tuned in Linux and running dstm‘s zm Miner for Linux, v0.5.8,
Tuning expert is NameTaken, will send you a link of him about tuning GPUs in OS Linux
As soon as I’m back in my office next Tuesday.
You will get 4.7 solutions per Watt Second (used energy).
Currently, my best result with 1080Ti is 4,52 solutions per watt (Linux, manual tuning with the driver).

Edit :
... and it is my all GPUs best results : no one else GPU get better sol/W.

Back on Tuesday in my office, please send me a PM here that I do not forget to submit the link and my tuning values. I’m building three miners with each 8 x 1070Ti based on new mining board made by Colorful.

The big problem with 1080 Ti is the RAM type GDDR5X, this X Version produces too much latencies and is bad to tune. The 1070 Ti has GDDR5 RAMs, they are much better for tuning.
These explanations I’ve got from dstm (developer of zm), he is Pasquale Chip specialist and I’m in direct contact with him by phone. He is a very smart guy and I could learn so much from him.

So where are this famous guide ? I got 3,42 Sol/w on a nvidia titan X (not tested on my rig), stock settings (ubuntu 16.04, nvidia 387.34, cuda 8 and 9)

Thanks

I get around 3.65-3.85 S/W with a 1070 Ti anything above that will just give me a big drop in hash rate and/or crash my rig. Either this is super silicon luck or I am missing something.

What is the lifetime of these cards? 0-24? What is the experiance?
I have GTX 1070 in 24/7 use since the beginning : mid 2016.
No issues.

Next nVidia gen, Volta, will be probably 30% more efficient.
The question is : when these Volta GPUs will be available (the first model will probably the 1070 or 1060 segment) ? March, april, may... september or later ? Not sure of anything.

Depends what amd offers in next few months.
AMD ?
LOL !!!
Just for warming your house.

If this coin listed cryptopia or coinexchange, the price big pump...
Like coins pac and xp etc...

and maybe because of that we must list at low amount exchange first.

here was one fellow who suggest some cheap  exchange 1-2 btc vs 5 btc at btc-alpha.
Maybe it's better opportunity

I do not see any discussions about all of that. This person also say that he is ignored. WTF?

p.s. hope big holders know what to do and they are inserted at long-term coin.

One question to suprnova.cc and mining btcz. As long as I am watching BtcZ suprnova constantly held above 50% of the global hashing power. But if you look at their stats they are over the whole time just finding around 20% of all blocks:

First Value are the global blocks, second one suprnovas findings

Last 24h   1,440   257
Last 7d   10,080   1,940
Last 4w   40,320   8,261

You can have a look here: https://btcz.suprnova.cc/index.php?page=statistics&action=blocks

Can someone explain this to me please?

Your welcome!   Only BitcoinZ has the true bitcoin spirit!   Hopefully some more marketing will get BTCZ out there.   Here is my twitter print when I need to post something Smiley

Compare zk-snarks privacy coins:

BTCZ = community coin, no premine, no dev fund, and no founders reward

Scams:
ZEC = 20% founder fund WTF
ZEN = ZCL fork, 8.5% treasury fund
ZCL = ZEC fork, fork to BTCP
VOT = 4.54% premine
HUSH = Premine, airdrop to BTCH
KMD = ICO 100M coins

Wow thank you for making this post saving it in #documents in slack

Which zk-snarks privacy coin is best?  Which has the spirit of the original bitcoin?   The easy answer is BitcoinZ!

BTCZ = community coin, no premine, no dev fund, and no founders reward.

Look at all of these scam coins below with zk-snarks and tell me why anyone would want to own them.

ZEC = 20% founder fund, WTF
ZEN = ZCL fork, 8.5% treasury fund
ZCL = ZEC fork, TBD fork to BTCP
VOTE = Entire float 4.54% premine
HUSH = Premine, Zdash rebrand, airdrop/fork to BTCH
KMD = Premine and ICO 100M coins

Awesome news bitcoinz-pod.   I checked the other code baselines:

BTCZ 1.0.14
ZEC 1.0.14
ZEN 2.0.10-1
ZCL 1.0.10-1
VoteCoin 1.0.13
Hush 1.0.12
KMD ?

zcash 1.0.14 was merged to bitcoinz master branch.
https://z.cash/blog/new-release-1-0-14.html
Main feature:
- support for viewing only keys - you can now import viewing key and list history of zaddr - read only mode

BTCZ is first zcash fork which support latest zcash 1.0.14

Just note that BTCZ will not be forked to BitcoinBitcoinZ similar to:
- ZCL => BitcoinPrivate
- HUSH => BitcoinHush
Coin is immutable.
The best in BTC spirit : BTCz, no doubt about that.
The best in technical aspect : I think it is ZCoin (XZC), when MTP will be really implemented, quicly now.
All others (ZCash and so on) are bullshit : not in the BTC spirit and technically not at the state of ZCoin (who is not in the BTC spirit with the dev fee and the nodes).
