Guys, let's make a vote about the future price of BitcoinZ!

My prediction is that it will reach:
- 100 Satoshi in May 2018
- 200 Satoshi in December 2018
- 500 Satoshi in 2020
- 1000 Satoshi in 2022 (after halving)

What do you think about that? What is your expectations regarding the price?

BTCZ project is stronger than ever. As more and more investors coming in. Look at the price, it's gearing up to rise in the next few days or weeks. But surely this year BTCZ will break the 500 sats.
Lol. What a extremely over-optimistic forecast for Bitcoin Z's price! I don't think this one will surpass 300 Satoshi.

If BitcoinZ will hit 500 Satoshi, than it means it is worth about 4 Cents on current prices, which is absolutely not an unrealistic target. In my opinion it could easily reach that in the coming 1-2 years.

This kinda answers my question I got in the ltcz thread if the ltcz developers were the same as the btcz developers and I got one thing for sure. There are the same people behind both projects. Both ANNs hitting the front page at the same time...

In BTCz we trust. Organic slow growth.

is it possible to count the exact hashrate, when solo mining starts becoming profitable?
say, I have about 6 ksol in my gpu's, is it worth considering solo?

There are calculators online to do the math for you based on difficulty . Right now your 6000sol/s rig is expected to make 5600 BTCz/day so if you solo mine you should expect to find a block every 53 hours and that's 12,500.

Problem is solo is that if you run your rig for 51 hours and stop you get ZERO for mining 51 hours. If you run your rig for 100 hours chances are you only find one 12,500 BTCz block which is very low for 100 hours because you didn't wait for second block. There is a small chance that you may find one block sooner than 53 hours or later than 53 hours.

A 1060 or 300sol/s will take over 1000 hours to find one block of 12500 BTCz and if you stop at 950 hours you just wasted a ton of powet and got zero.

With a pool you get the same about over the long term but your rewards are broken into a lot of consistent tiny amounts over a long period of time.

With a pool there is a high chance that got also get screwed. Many pools typically skim 50% of the incoming blocks in hidden fees and advertise 1% fee. Few pools are honest.

Thanks a lot for the info!
So basically soloing means no pool fees (both transparent and hidden).

But I need to clear one thing,
you've mentioned 53 hours to find a block on 6ksol rig, does it mean just total 53 hours or 53 hours nonstop?
I mean, does it matter if process was interrupted?

And what if some big pool and myself both find a block at the same time, the pool will have advantage in both latency and hash power, so there is a chance that my block would be ignored, am I right? should this be considered?

That's exceeds my knowledge but if I were to guess:

if your abandon the solo mining and come back start mining again your chances don't reset because it's pure chance via math. Its like you rolled a dice 5 times waiting for a 1 and didn't get it and you go to school and come back and continue rolling the same dice. Jus rolling 1 three times in a row a possible in solo mining there is also a much higher chance of got finding multiple blocks at intervals shorter than 53 hours OR going hundreds of hours without finding one. That 53 hour is a long time average say for example over 100 days of straight mining. With pools your chance of that is significantly lower.

If you and a large pool find a block at the same time I think unfortunately the large pool, if selfish, can ignore your block and you lose. But im not certain . I suggest you ask the question at a higher level forum such as https://bitcoin.stackexchange.com

Could we just redirect CMC to old ANN, and then edit the old ANN, add link to new ANN at very first line,
so that newcomer from CMC sees big fat old ANN first, and then the new one?

Or should we bloat this new ANN as big as possible? Is it even a good thing?

I agree with that ! It's necessary to add the old ANN on the first page of this new ANN. For the moment, people don't know the community talk a lot about many things and don't have a good opinion about us.
Someone who write better than me in English should write a little paragraph and explain why we have create an new ANN. And then, add this little paragraph at the very beginning of this new ANN. It's totally psychological but it is the basics of marketing.

I'm stunned how an abandoned project called ZClassic without devs and without even an android wallet is trading at $113M and we can't get to $10M with so much more to offer.

Bigger and trust exchange need. My friends don't wanna send money to something like stocks.exchange or btc-alpha. If the rumors are confirmed, we listed in may to two big exchanges and this solve our problem with small volume around 100k. Bright future is coming!

https://info.btcz.rocks/

According to the website Coinbene is suppose to be listed in May 2018.    It was suppose to be listed on April 16 but somehow Coinbene couldn't get their act together even after sending them 10 BTC.

Coinbene say they have't got equihash coin before, not a powerfull privacy coin like BitcoinZ! They need more time for implement. They are lazy.

BTCZ should Be listed till May 2 on Coinbene - that was the latest info and BTCZ will also get Ads on Coinmarketcap paid by Coinbene due to listing delay

Coinbene is now the 18th largest exchange in the World (135 million USD), and it is still growing. This is a good sign for BitcoinZ!  Wink

Remember when some guys were complaining about Coinbene, asking why BitcoinZ is not listed on Poloniex or Cryptopia Smiley Currently Poloniex is only on the 24th place while Cryptopia is on 61st place based on its daily volume: https://coinmarketcap.com/exchanges/volume/24-hour/

Exmo was announced a while ago, at an older meetup and I thought it was mentioned that April would be the date.   Still waiting on the actual timing of listing and perhaps sometime in May is the date.

Thanks to all for the advice on solomining - i guess my puny 1060 wont cut it lol Wink)

I'm still getting a few from a pool everyday in any case which is good.

One more question -how will the difficulty increase in the future and how will that affect btcz?

Will you solo mine with only 1 Nvidia GTX 1060 6Gb GPU?
I think that is only waste of time and energy, but if you will do so, please share your results. Thanks!

Difficulty will go up for sure, especially if there will be a price jump.

Very interesting I just both more seem a lot of people are selling very cheap in the bull month.😀😀😀😀😀

This is due to the high profitability of BTCZ mining, BTCZ is often at the top of the list of mining profitability calculators.

I don't find btcz to be most profitable equihash....  it's highly variable but usually it is middle of the road.  I do think however that btcz has a lot more upside and is building a base here around 25-55 sats so it represents stable profits with  longer term upside.  Right now if you mine zclassic you don't know if that 30+ coin will be 1/10 of what it is in two weeks.

You are absolutely right, investors primarily check ANN. At a cursory viewing our ANN became poorer and it scares away many potential investors. In addition, the transition ANN frightened some investors and they sold their deposits by flopping the course just like it was with the departure of Anthony (IMHO).
But what to do, life continues, work is under way, and the fall in exchange rate has allowed many others to increase their deposits.
And those investors who are deeper to learn the work that the developers are doing will make their choice in favor of BTCZ. But in order to facilitate this task, you need more activity in the ANN.

Could we just redirect CMC to old ANN, and then edit the old ANN, add link to new ANN at very first line,
