question.

On the same computer,

1 x 500 gb plot will yield the same result as 5 x 100 gb plot ?

People keep saying bigger plot will get submitted share more frequently than small plot ?

Yes its the same result. If they don't overlap of cause!

Is there any where i can see my mining "hash" output ? It looks like its displaying same message on all miner. I cant see how much i am hashing

Is it possible to not get a valid share for pool for days ? It seems like small miner cant mine this coin because of rare occurrence of a valid submit share ?

Guys plots should not overlap even across multiple drives right? So the plots should be sequential across the drives, as in you do not start from 1 again on a new drive?

Is this correct??

They should never overlap, and they don't need - but can be sequential.

If in doubt just start with a higher nonce.

Multipool and another exchange. 20 BTC of volume on C-CEX isn't going to cut it. The coin is going to get mined to death.

FUD is not the problem.
Problem is that this coin is only being mined and hold instead of buy.
Result= Everyone mine, hold and waiting for price rise to dump little by little.
99% miner=No buy support=Price stagnant=More and more bagholder=High risk for dump=Investor don't buy=BOH!  Wink

+1 +1 +1

we need multipool to increase buy pressure..
i don't understand why burst dev is not interested...

really i don't understand...

Is it faster/more efficient to generate one hard drive at a time on a i5 3570k or can I have the generator running 2 threads each on both drives?

E.g. Generate the first 3.6TB for Drive 1 with 100% system resources used for it. Or Generate 3.6TB on both drives simultaneously with resources shared between the two?

Good News, Everybody!

My Windows based installer seems to be working. It took till 3:30 am, but what the heck.

It downloads the files straight from Github

I've got the plotter plotting, the miner mining, and the wallet running from a single click.

I've still got quite a bit of work, some things are running out of order, it needs more testing, and I have to put it on Github...

Once its ready I will announce it here, and post everything to www.burst.today

How much memory do I need for 12 Tb? Is 8 Gb enough?

hello

today got some new hardware

so now i have 3 rigs each with 2x3 tb drives

the original rig had
plots generated like this

1)0 to 4000000 stagger size 20000
2)4000001 to 8000001 stagger size 20000
3)8000002 to 12000002 stagger size 20000
4)12000003 to 16000003 stagger size 20000
5)16000004 to 20000004 stagger size 20000

1tb used for storage /os / miner / wallet / plot generator

the question is : considering that i will instal the os off 2 usb sticks for the remaining 2 rigs and i will use full 6 tb
do i have to plot the plot files from 20000005 to 40000010 in 2nd rig and from 40000011 to 60000011 in the third ?

or each rig has to havee the plot start from 0 to drive capacity ?
