Is it possible to create your plots on Linux then mine in windows?
Sure it is. Both generate exactly the same files.

Use 8191 stagger size to minimize disk seeks (use -Xmx 8000m then). The java-plotter is slow, theres no way around it.

Do you mean NXT not NX ? And you're right... bter or poloniex can add the cryptocoins (burst) easily , because the the protocol that it use is equal/identical to that of nxt .
