This coin needs to be simplified. GUI?
I sorta like it the way it is, for now anyway. It limits the amount of people who can mine, so I can get more! lol. But yea, eventually, to gain popularity, there probably should be some sort of simplified installation method, and GUI miner.

Let's start simple - 1TB drive (the 500MB and the 1.5TB have files on them. The 1TB is a clean format with nothing on it).

ofcourse u only have 8194 nonce, i got millions nonce on my 1 TB drive
So instead of 8194, use 1000000 ?what about the 500 and the 7?
500 is memory in MB, 7 is threads
1 nonce is 256 KB, you should fit it into ur drive capacity
So I have 8MB, that means I can change my 500 to 8000000 ? what about threads?

Getting errors tried Xmx4000, then 2000, then 1000, then 500 - all errors. I'm 64Bit, i popped in more memory, now im up to 16GB ram on the PC. I used the 3809280 2048 7
I have an AMD 8 core cpu, only using 7.

Man this really needs a gui with like: Choose plot location, Choose plot size, Choose ram, and choose threads, so it's easy for people to mine.
it will come, i am sure of it,
we just take advantage of being an early miners, if we make it soooo easy, difficulty will rise exponentially
so enjoy ur techie skill while it matters...

you should check the file size in plots directory, thats how much your plot size is, or just simply check ur free disk space

that's gotta be rare... I have not even 1.5 tb total fully plotted right now and I have already hit 6 blocks, in around 2 days. I guess maybe you are just extremely unlucky?

can we stop and resume plot creation, or we need to do it manually by appending next nonce range?
If you really stop the process it would be the latter one. You have to do it manually although with PS you should be able to automate this.

does wallet need to be run during plot generation or mining ?
The run run_mine.bat.
Use http://localhost:8125 and log in with your passphrase to check your balance (and other usefull info).
And if you have your machine generating plots, you might as well mine at the same time. Each new block, any newly created nonces are used, so you don't have to wait for your plots to completely generate before using them.
