Btw, on dev2 pool make sure miner sends all shares below target deadline, not only the best one.

Hm!  i think blago miner sends only best..correct? if yes what miner to choose?

Yes, I'm working on correcting this...

I have notice that if i spread my plot files in many directories (over 10) i have significant improvement in speed but memory issues.
My server has 64GB ram but i get an error message about file lock than server freeze and i have to reboot.

Hey guys

Wulfcastle here, designer of the current Wallet and Burst Logo. I apologize for my absence over the last couple of months, my schedule has been extremely packed so I had little time to work on other projects, however for the immediate future I free time in my schedule to work on Burst's Design and Marketing (More on that later....)

My first port of call was to refine the current Wallet UI that I designed, which I completed a while back. The main changes have been with the Navigation, where I've incorporated a new color scheme, along with changes to padding etc.

As usual I've uploaded the source code for the UI to the Burst-UI GitHub Repo : https://github.com/Wulfcastle/Burst-UI. Instructions to install the updated UI are also provided there.

Mixing plot files with different stagger size is it causing bad deadlines?

hey people.
i have a problem that is confusing me, i have 2 hdd and i have a miner on each with plots on each hdd and they do not overlap but yet both miners from the different hdd are submiting the exact same share. any ideas on what is up?

i have re plotted the hard drives to make sure they dont overlap and i have also tried on 4 different hdd but when mining they alll submit the same share at the same time as if they were all one plot. it never used to do this so im not sure whats changed.
any help would be greatly appreciated.

Copy/paste your plots' file name here: https://bchain.info/BURST/tools/overlap to really make sure they not overlapping.

Also, which are the configurations of your miners?

i have used that tool and it found no overlapping nonces
this is my run_mine.bat file:  java -Xmx1024m -cp pocminer.jar;lib/*;lib/akka/*;lib/jetty/* pocminer.POCMiner mine "http://burst-pool.cryptoport.io:80"
im not sure what you meant by configuration of my miners so im presuming its the .bat above if not what do i need to look for?

What happens if you use blago's, uray's or dcct's miners?

the miner with the run_generate and run_mine .bat files is the only miner i have. i think its an early one of urays miner. the other one on urays pool i have no idea how to use i dont know if it needs compiling or something but i have no idea how to compile
ohh im on windows 7 btw

Any stable pool out there?

I have 50TB and i can not even get 12K per day. (No matter the pool i am using)

(I was using SG in the past but currently something is wrong with the pool and my deadlines)

Try dev2 pool.

I will give a try....

Still in Need of Beta Testers, who has an Android Device with Notify My Android.
It will send you a Notification when you got new Incoming Transfers

Go into your Burst Wallet and send an encrypted Message with just your API Key As Message to BURST-4MEJ-CLJ8-DE9B-6RRPT
Again: Encrypted and nothing else. Smiley
It will check then your API and give you a Feedback if it succeeded and after that you will get a Push Notification everytime your have an Incoming Transfer. (Block/Poolfinder will be added next days)

Considering we already have a massive amount of the tech space investing time and money into improving data storage, capacity capabilities should be relatively predictable with steady and consistent growth. Any plans of implementing a purpose for all that data storage similar to storj.io?

Check out first post, burstcoin does have plans to add something along those lines too at some point.

Storj dev here. I think super3 (or another user) mentioned this at one point, but it could be possible to integrate the services. You could run both Burst and Storj (DriveShare) together and depending on what's more profitable for you at the moment, the space allocated to each service could change dynamically. Burst could also be used as another way to demonstrate available capacity to the Storj network. I could see a scenario where I have 10 TB of drive. I offer all 10 TB to Storj and Burst, but at the moment the Storj network only gives me contracts for 5 TB worth of chunks, then you use the rest of the available space for Burst. If Storj can utilize your drive more, you can dynamically allocate more to Storj, etc. depending on the economics.

I mean we're all open-source so why not take advantage of the strengths of each platform?

Good idea, thanks for reaching out to Burst!  It would indeed require a little bit of thinking regarding how mining is organized but I think that's a great idea.  You could originally allocate hard drive space to mine for Burst, then when StorJ requests access, let StorJ take over those sectors. It is possible to rework the plotting to the point where it can work.. would require thinking about how to do it most efficiently.

I think both coins would win with this deal and it would be a good partnership.  You could even cross market them nicely where both promote the other one.. or integrate one into the wallet of the other or something, so they share a wallet.

What are the benefits of mining on a pool when you are using your own plots? Why not just mine on your own machine?

if you have few TB, you have high chances to not find blocks...
and in pool you can gain something...

this is the only difference...

pool mining is for those who have not much tb.
as less tb you have as less is your chance to find a block. under 1tb in solo your chance is so less, that pool mining garants you permanent profits.
