Hum well its totally thé job of à marketing guy to hype his product.
There WE are, its not certain yet, its just à project , im sûre many dev would liké to do this so i Guess its not Because you Want it that it will happen, exactly like dev who plan to be added on poloniex , but every dev would love this, that doesnt mean it will happen.
So until we have concrete evidence or hints ( like à forex exchange twitting about burst )  it could actually bé added , i advice to take this with a grain of salt and not make trade décisions based on this.

Of course it's not certain yet, nobody here has said that it is. Also nobody has claimed that you should buy Burst because of this possibility.

I bought Burst at 51 satoshi. I think I'll take my own trading advice, but thank you for your concern.

Adam(Mister Burst) made some huge announcements yesterday. Apparently he is working with a Forex trading company to get Burst implemented into their system. If this deal goes through, Burst will boom like crazy. Even the bitlser thing is big, but this would be game changing. Keep your eyes and ears open people.

Yes I also saw this announcement and if it goes through then yes Burst will for sure blow up! Now is the perfect time to load up on more Burst before all these things start to happen. The Bitsler news was big enough but if this goes through then I expect Burst to be worth in the thousands of sats,if not tens of thousands and even in the hundreds of thousands. Exciting times ahead for this coin and I'm glad I have been with Burst for almost 1 year now supporting the coin and now mining as well.

Adam was saying $1 = 1 Burst could happen if this deal goes through, and I totally believe it. If Burst hits a Forex market, the new attention it gets will be magnificent. It could even pull investors from bigger coins like BTC or ETH if Burst is the first coin to be adopted into forex trading. Exciting times for Burst, as if the 1000 satoshi spike wasn't good enough!  Grin

Yes it will be huge if Burst can pull it off and $1 per Burst is a possibility for sure if it hits the Forex market. To be honest anything could happen with the price. That's why we are adding more drives to our current mining rig to make it over 20TB as just think with all this happening the fees us miners will get will be huge!

But guys, how do you know its not bullshit ? Something thats very unlikely but thé dev is telling it to keep thé hype ?

First of all Adam is not part of the dev and is the marketing guy and I don't believe he is hyping it up as it is not certain yet. But we do know that Burst will be added on Bitsler which is huge news as it's the 1st crypto currency to be added outside the top currencies so this tells us that Burst is a solid coin to hold for the long term and if the Forex thing does happen well we can expect Burst to sky rocket. Lets just see what happens in the next few weeks.

Thanks for the tip mate as when it comes time to deposit Burst on Bittrex I'll now know how to go about it. So what message do you put in when you make a deposit on Bittrex?

We will be back up and mining again later today as our 5TB drive is almost finished plotting, it's taken 6 days to plot.

Looks like this :

Bittrex generates both BURST address and message for you. Just c/p both when deposit, and make sure you unchecked "encrypt message" checkbox in your wallet. Very important...  Grin

Thanks mate and I'll be sure to unchecked "encrypt message" when it comes time to deposit Burst into Bittrex.

Hello there,

I am Baryom, bitsler's main admin (www.bitsler.com)  A lot of our players asked us to add BURSTCOIN to our casino. We will implement it in the next following weeks. Nice job, keep going   Wink

Cheers,

This is great news for Burst as it will get a lot more exposure now and more people will start to adopt Burst which is what Burst needs to become one of the top 20 crypto currencies.

I want to understand the difference between mining by using hard disks (burst), and renting the empty space of the hard disk (storj). Is what both are based on the cloud storage project?

BURST has you write "plot" files with pre-generated data in very large quantities to your drive, then it searches a specific sub-set of that data every time it is told there is a new block to process for a dataset with the lowest "deadline".

Has nothing at all to do with cloud storage like Storj or Maid at all, and you can't use the potted drive space for anything else.

Thank you, I thought that burstcoin is based on a project of stokage in cloud like storj corner a project that seems very promising to me.
The last question is what the burst project, other than the ficilititation of the transactions, I speak about the project on which burst is based (example ETH based on smartcontract, storj based on cloud storaj .....)

The headliner in BURST is the low resource, eco friendly, green HDD mining.  You use extra storage space to mine and receive burstcoin.  Basically anything with some extra hdd space can mine BURST.

There is also an asset exchange where you can invest BURST and get dividends, a market place (still needs to be developed), a very active community, and I think there may be a storage application that can be worked in in the future... not 100% sure though.
Knowing the project on which it is based can give us an idea of its future. Thank you for the lightings. I think a stokage app will be a very good idea.

Hello.
We need assistance of BURST developers. Several of outgoing transactions got stuck with 1 confirmation.

Could you clarify why this happens and what do we have to do?

Seems to me all your transactions got through fine, for example http://burstcoin.biz/transaction/9374359284092483123

I am unsure what happened to your transactions, I would check the usual stuff: time sync, java memory etc. At least until devs chime in.

Bittrex seems to want a "message" as part of the transaction to deal with BURST at all - definitely does so on deposits, never tried to withdraw BURST from them.

I've never deposited Burst into Bittrex but i have withdrawan many Burst coins from there and no you don't need a message to withdraw but we do if we want to deposit. As I have never deposited Burst coins into Bittrex I wonder if someone one here that has, what message do we put in to deposit Burst?

Bittrex generates both deposit adress and message.  Wink It's all in deposit section.

EDIT

Oh,yes,it's very important to uncheck "encrypt message" checkbox. Learned the hard way.... Roll Eyes
