Ok I've just received my new coins manually from nrigo. They came through quickly and were confirmed almost straight away.
The process took over half an hour (no fault of nrigo) and was quite involved as there were a couple of anomalies to iron out.
IMO the manual changeover will take a while - probably longer than the 24-48 specified. Everything has to be verified obviously.
Patience and understanding will be needed by everyone as this process unfolds.
Rest assured, you can trust the team, your coins are safe and they will get around to you as soon as they can.
Oh and thanks again nrigo. Your time and efforts are greatly appreciated.
I don't really think it will take longer than a day. There aren't many people with coins to swap for real.
As you can see how many are connected to Coin2 IRC channel.
Anyway. Whatever it takes it must be done.
For me more important is when exchanges will start trading again...
And @Cryptohunter - Well perhaps they will think about it - we will see.
What is about a value of a coin - the real value of a coin was never yet shown. C2 and C2.0 were very young coins during all of those attacks. And as we already know a value of C2.0 was higher than a value of C2 coin.
C2.1 is well secured and it's wallet is very pro - it is implementing X11 too ... so I believe now this coin will be much better and safer for users - so a price will go up
IMO.
