I have just tried out the new C2v2 wallet for windows
( http://sourceforge.net/projects/coin2project/files/Coin2.0.zip/download "<14 hours ago")
Judging by what "Menu ... Help ... Debug ... Information" says, it is compiled with the openSSL version "OpenSSL 1.0.1e 11 Feb 2013" that is vulnerable to the www.HeartBleed.com bug exploit.
Please recompile with a newer OpenSSL.

Yeah! I think we do need a multipool as most of POS based coins (Faircoin, Blackcoin, etc.) did.
The multipool will help pump the price of C2, definitely.
Hope the dev team can take the multipool into consideration in the next step.

Is it ok to send the coins to poloniex? its still shows frozen and the poloniex admin hasnt updated yet.

Something strange is happening! I tried to deposit to Bter and it already showed confirmations etc and now confirmations are back to 0.
Is somebody attacking or what is happening?[/size][/size][/size]

So is this the starting signal? If not, what about a date&time and a countdown?
Will the C2v1 network be secured by enough hashpower during the transfer?
I suggest big red letters in the OP and this thread,
and on the website and on twitter and on facebook ...
announcing what we need to do when.
What about the alert mechanism of the wallet?
How many days will there be from start to finish of the C2v1 to C2v2 transfer ?
I have a couple of contacts to whom I gifted C2v1, and they will need a few days to receive, and digest the information, and then act; they need to get an account at the exchange and have never done that before, etc. - Why does all this need to be an even faster rush than the original airdrop?
You need to send all "old" Coin2 to an exchange as soon as we say so. DO NOT DO SO YET. WE WILL TELL YOU.
and then a few minutes later, just this:Bittrex is open for deposits....do so NOW!!!!

i think 2 days is not enough,
we need at least 2 weeks for socialization-transfer & swaping coin before market is open again to trade.
we're talking about someone else money/invesment here,
and at time we hit first exchange it means C2 holder is no longer only our community (1st 1000 holder & bitcointalk user)
it might be a problem in the future if we too hastily
It may lose some Coin2 fans. we need at least 2 weeks for socialization-transfer & swaping coin before market is open again to trade.

we do not have hash power to maintain old wallet.
