CACH deposit address is not generated correctly

What's wrong? Mine works fine, and everyone seems to have what appear to be valid addresses. Is yours not displaying, or is the client rejecting it?

the address might be wrong, doesnt work for me too

For people sending me PMs that this coin is "dead":

This coin is not dead, yes, PoW take a VERY long time atm but PoS still confirm the transactions, and as of now, last 10 confirm time is 14m 48s. Quite in the range of the intended 15m average. Here's how this coin works. PoW are targeted at 15m intervals, PoS are mined independently with it's own diff not caring about anything. If PoW starts taking more that 15m per block (like now) PoS diff adjusts so that it balances the time to archive the intended 15m confirmations. I never intended this to be a mine and dump coin like what's going on now with other alts. Miners hear a new coin, mine at launch, dump asap, profit. This coin is aimed at usability and try to minimize the amount of "free" money generated. Not for miner to mine the shit out of it and sell. At first the drop in diff algo had a bug where i forgot to change it to my intended purposes, now that it is fixed, the network is behaving as intended. The diff adjustment is not based on any average, it's based on last time block. So it doesn't and should't drop to the intended 15m target all at once, it'll drop slowly (but MUCH faster that rising). so even if the diff is at say, 100, and network hashn't found a block in several hrs, and suddenly out of luck say two blocks are found minutes apart, the diff will drop to say 95, the rise say to 95.5. Doesn't matter on the average time of last X blocks. The network looks at last block only

If someone wants to send me a bit of CACH (a single coin will do fine) so I can test deposits and withdrawals, I'll put this up on Poloniex. Address: CH87XuRNqmDNTeRomD6TCetfwNGAfRSQHY

Please, add some power to the network, http://q30.qhor.net:8336/static/

Any responses from any exchanges yet?

Jasin, I talked to coin-swap.net they are considering to add CACH. Not sure if this count as exchange Smiley

Seem the python paths were set up incorrectly, so stratum failed to start. Should be fixed now, so if the machine reboots next time, the pool should start working again right after the reboot (caused by some kernel memory leak, will have to investigate further on the causes)

And the pool is now running again... sorry for any inconvenience caused.

Machine got rebooted and seems the stratum failed to start automatically after reboot. Investigating.

I have lowered the fee in my pool from 1% to 0.5%:

http://cach.catcoin.cz/ - traditional pool, PROP, vardiff, stratum. A nice alternative to p2pool for mining CACH.

Great but why did you turn if off? ;-)

[2014-02-01 17:15:35] Stratum connection failed: Failed to connect to 2a01:430:17:1::ffff:109: Network is unreachable
