Yeah, ok I get it now, thanks. Well, I don't want to mine with my CPU Tongue. Can anyone get a pool going?

I may be interested in starting a pool... Anyone have any idea if this will be up on Cryptsy to trade for within this month?

If we get the pool, then people will mine more and I guess within 2 to 3 week probably yes, considering the coin innovations, which could IMHO result in more stable coin price and more stable miner base.

I offered a bounty for a pool:
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/need-a-pool-for-cachecoin-200-cachecoin-bounty-400797

Perhaps that will be some extra motivation to create one. Smiley

the network hashrate is 180MH/s and target block time is 15 minutes (actually little lower, since the difficulty is adjusting upwards). So with your hashrate you should statistically get one block every 12 hours (still much better than bitcoin, where that time is several years Smiley

Yep, we need a pool.

port  ? any?
rpcport ? any?
node?

You can use this as your clockcoin.conf

Code:
listen=1
server=1
daemon=1
rpcuser=yourUsername
rpcpassword=yourPassword
rpcport=34000
rpcconnect=127.0.0.1
addnode=89.200.140.78
addnode=96.20.39.20
/code]

Seems rpcport can be any Grin
I got a reject, is that mean solo is working right?
I have 3.678M powered by 3x280X, get nothing, is this normal?

Has anyone any idea yet how much the 5 largest wallets own? 50%? 75%? 90%?

Anyone know how the proof of stake works?  Is that a separate mining pool based on how many coins you hold?

Separate transaction type (stake transaction, where you add proof of stake and earn the stake, so output is larger than inputs). From what I've seen the source, the minimal coin age for stake is 30 days, maximal (i.e. older coins won't give more stake) is 90 days. The interest rate for stake seems to be capped at 0.41% per 30 days.

I would sell, just not at the price your offering Smiley

Same with me. The difficulty is rising and the offer was way below the cost even at current difficulty. There are risks in every coin involved, but I am pretty sure that the coin market cap for this coin is more than 1.5 BTC, especially considering the algorithm for reward calculation Smiley

You need to type setgenerate true .

So if you have 8 CPUs, you would type setgenerate true 8

You really need to be mining with a GPU, though, to mine blocks right now.

And how do I do that?

I just started mining today with pools and don't know how to get going with such a new coin solo

the is not needed if you want to utilize all your cores.

I'm not sure what i'm supposed to be seeing, or what I have done wrong Sad.

"generate" : true,   shows that you are mining
"hashespersec" : 46452, shows your current mining speed
"networkhashps" : 283710633, shows the 'approximate' network mining speed
