IMHO,  IF we want to change to logo, I think we should tip our community member Glavos who's already did a great work and use his logo instead of paying somebody else to create a new one...

Don't you think?

If we are going too have a new logo for the web site , crypto design have some nice logos . worth looking at may be , also they except BTC for payment

bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1339802.0

cryptodesign.eu

( Edit:- the cost of a new logo from cryptodesign would be 0.1BTC which l am wiling to fund if the new dev team think we need a new logo}

The Dev funds have been returns to the senders, Boosh and Vlad2Vlad and myself.

I am willing help out again with a new Dev fund, you might want to PM Vlad2Vlad and Boosh to see if they are still interested in supporting Cash

Part of the Dev fund was going to try and buy cashcoin.org from Charlie Shrem, but as you know he has been lock up for a while now, he was willing to sell the web site to us back then , dont know who hold the site at the moment, but if he still dose , and we can contact him after his release , would be good for the CASH cause

I've Already talked to Vlad and he said he had to liquidate his coin...  And Boosh had post in here not so long ago, so he's probably still interested.

For the website, thanks to BigDig!!  we now have http://cash-coin.info  So I think we should consider "creating a website for CASH" task as DONE!  Grin   Were we really gonna wait for Shrem to be release?!?     NOPE!!  lol

same here - they have over 130,000 cash of mine. yet they have time to tweet all day long.

Did you checked if your fund had moved since you send them?  Mine haven't last time I've checked...  I don't understand why they act like that?! They would make money with fee with us trading on their site instead of keeping our fund for doing nothing with it....  They suck!

I can get this coin listed on Alcurex in two days and those people who run the place are very responsive. I got USDe listed there last week.

Sure, Go for it! Cheesy  Did you search about them to see if they are reliable?  How much time there online? Never heard about them..

So no one have opinion about the logo and which mac version is needed?  If we want to change the logo, it would be cool to change it BEFORE hitting an exchange if we want the good logo to be show on the exchange...  Grin

Have a good day!

has anyone found any working exchanges for the Coin?

it's a shame about Cryptsy, cause I really liked this coin.

Smiley

Be careful with your research, askcoin net will create a deposit address for you, but after you send your coin, they will will never get in your account and they will not even answer to your emails....   I've lost the 1000 CASH  i've sent there... Sad

BigDig:  Nice for the website! In case you want to know what info was on the original page, you can look with the wayback machine there: http://web.archive.org/web/20140208074003/http://www.cash-coin.org/

But be free to design it differently than it was! Cheesy  We maybe should use the new logo that was done by,,,...,,.. EDIT: was done by Glavos.

I was looking old post in this thread to see if I should change the wallet splash screen and logo with the new ones that has been designed by Glavos and I've came across some posts that reminds me about the Dev fund that has been collected to find a new Dev for CASH last years,.......  Back then I couldn't help much on the coding side,.... but by now I think that I may fit for the job!  On the +++ side,... it's been almost 2 years longer than the original Dev that I'm here to support CASH,... so, unlike him, there is pretty good chance that I will be here next week!!  Grin lol   What do you guy's think?

By the way, I don't know if someone is waiting after the Mac version? Nobody asked for it, but it is built and working on my OS X Maverick 10.9Vm. I just need to make it static for it to work on other system than mine but didn't had time to do it...  if I remember correctly, the old mac wallet for CASH had 2 version, one for 10.7 and one for 10.9...

I've never really like Mac so I'm not up to date with which version most people are running,..... is the 10.7 version is needed these day (I hope not! lol )  or just the 10.9 release will be enough?

And for the logo and splash screen, would you want them to be replace in the wallet or you want to leave it as-is?

Please share you opinion and have a good day!

CryptoNatriX

P.S.  Almost 50% of my 16 connected peers are on the new wallet version!  I'm really happy to see that the community is supporting my effort by using the updated Wallet. Thank you!

Who ever is willing to tweet the info on the new wallet url would be welcome!  There is probably some peoples that are running the old one only because they are not aware that there is a new one so share the link!  https://github.com/CryptoNatriX/cash/

Pool available, Come join if the self-signed cert doesn't bother you.

The pool is here, but i have no idea it is working or not.

Anyway the difficulty is low enough for solo mining. So, you can try.

CashCoin website will be restored and launched in the near future at http://cash-coin.info with actual information.
Perhaps as unofficial CashCoin website yet.

Thanks for the advice, everything is working fine, now I have 16 connections.

Regarding Upnp support, I think it should be included in the new wallet version with "off" option by default.
So, everybody will be able to choose what they prefer.
Just my 2 cents.

I've installed the new wallet and it worked fine.
Thank you, Cryptonatrix!

But I've noticed that there were only 5 connections (with peers' port 3352) instead of 14 connections (with different ports) in my previous wallet which was taken from here: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.9418052.

Why is it so, are there any ideas?

Thank you for giving me feedback!

Maybe your old wallet had Upnp activated?

I was using the original 1.1 wallet before this new one, so I dont know if the one you was using had support for Upnp. But the original one doesn't had Upnp support.

This new compiled one doesn't. (MAC build have it but it's not posted yet!)  So if you want to act as a node you have open port 3352 from your router to your pc ip address.

Check there http://www.canyouseeme.org/ to see if your port 3352 is open.

Have a good day!

CryptoNatriX

P.S. I have currently 14 connections so it should be working fine for you too! Cheesy

P.S.2   I personally doesn't like Upnp so I didn't put lot of efforts building it with Upnp support, but would you guys would like to have support for Upnp?  If yes, would you like it to be on or off by default?  (we have 3 choices: available and ON by default, available and OFF by default or not available)
