Pirce is going down together with net hashrate.
Maybe it's  good time to mine now.
yes , where the pool people mine?
Looks like a good amount of hash here:   http://149.210.168.71:23932/static/

lets not forget to spread the hash around so as to avoid more forking until we're on the new chain.

Very good point!  Spread the love people!

ok - I've always been a cga fan and will be adding CGA to my pools - expect it tomorrow - http://cga.lifeforce.info

Awesome!  Let me know when it's live and I'll add it to the list

actually just synch'd the wallet and due to the low prices - I'm afraid I would not be able to get anyone to mind the coin based on the fact that the largest block size is 1 coin and that's only 30 coins per hour & 720 coins per day.

the days of mining scrypt with gpu are over and everyone hash big asic rigs and they want coins they can flip quickly so unless the value rises at least 5 fold I'm afraid I could not get anyone to mine the coin.

thanks

Actually on the old chain which we are still in the block time is still 60 secs I believe.  The specs on the OP are for V2 which we slowed down to hopefully help with forks.  So if that helps at all....

Not to mention being an established pool might be good when prices do go up.

I'd have to agree CGA had a very good price before it started forking all the time. I'd say after the trade in and continued good network health , we should see a good raise in price Smiley

Got the OSX wallet up, since I made it a bit differently I could not get it to be packaged in a .dmg so here it is in a tar:

http://cganomaly.com/downloads/CGA_1.3.4.3_OSX.tar

Let me know if this does or doesn't work, we have had issues in the past. This new method should be a fix.
Added to the OP. Thanks

Hi guys! Really glad to see CGA is on the roll. I'll gladly put up p2pool settings for V2 on https://github.com/0x0aNL/p2pool-0x0a by the time the source is released, and of course set up a node. The V1 node I've currently got up is listed as http://149.210.168.71:23932/static/ but can also be reached at http://cga.p2p.0x0a.nl:23932 and may be branded as 0x0a  Wink
Excited to see more anomalies on the horizon!

The swap itself needs to be soon.  The faster we can get of this blockchain the better.  I will handle late comers for a while after that but can't do it forever.  Prob will set a date for about a month from now when we will cut off the swap so we can deal with whatever is left over.

Speaking of that, any thoughts on what we should do with the leftover coins?  My thought is destroy but certainly open to suggestions.  I'll put up a poll later on so we can vote on it.

Also I reached out to swisscex and allcoin to give them a heads up.  Most likely coins there will be swapped out on their exchange.  Would be kinda silly to ask them to send coins to polo to be swapped out.   lol

For now Polo is the only confirmed host of the swap but I'll update the OP when I hear back from the other exchanges.

OK!!!  Finally got my node fixed.  If your not syncing here's the 2 best nodes:

addnode=192.99.37.224
addnode=107.170.166.51

Also there are updated clients in the OP.  Please use them. v1.3.4.3

OSX will be posted asap

And Polo is good again so send away.  I'm not touching anything again unless I have to!   Wink

Is it safe to compile the wallet/daemon on Linux from the GitHub-repos? Is it the latest version there already? Will it work with the now still used V1-chain as well as with V2 later? Anything to do about that, if updated now?

The links in the OP are the most up to date clients and source for V1.  Go to town.  They work with the previous clients.  V2 will not work with V1 though.  V2 is a completely new coin and everyone needs to start moving coins to Poloniex to have them traded out when the time come.

We haven't set a date yet but I think it will be pretty soon.  After that we will trade in for late comers as they come along but we want to get the bulk of the coins traded in with Polo in one shot.

OK, just don't set the time-frame too short-termed and try to run a good information-policy, so that most anyone involved in this coin (especially pools, exchanges and marketcap-sites) can be informed right on time. And offer a possibility so that latecomers can change their "old" coins into new ones, too.
