For the last couple of days, I've tried everything listed here, but I am ALWAYS getting the error: "The transaction did not go through successfully. Please try again".

Here's a URL from the terminal log:

Without manually decoding the raw tx hex, I see from the data above that it ends indeed with the last scriptSig as provided by brainwallet.org.

The inputs used in this transaction do exist:

It actually looks like the transaction hex was split somehow and the other half at the end is missing.

We are definitely not reducing our CHA holdings at such a mature point in our coin development where most of the key features are implemented.

nice small change to the website  Smiley
sure is important to point out the amazing key features CHA now has.

@Devs can you explain a bit more how btc betting is working?
I have cha in my account but I am betting using btc - I don't see the order book or volume change in poloniex (not when I lost and not when I win a bet).

Here's a more detailed explanation:
When you bet with BTC, we have a server that figures out how much CHA you can buy with the BTC bet on Poloniex, and then creates a special transaction that turns your BTC bet into a CHA bet (crediting your account and debiting ours). The CHA/BTC price you get is exactly what you would get on Poloniex by buying the offers at that exact moment. In fact, our server will generally actually buy those offers at the same time. In this case, we were low on funds, and so you didn't actually see transactions going through Poloniex at the time of your bet. Some of the time, as we're transferring BTC and CHA to and from Poloniex to keep this service up and running, we might not actually buy the offers immediately.
Some time soon we'll update the Technical documentation with these recent changes.
Magician
P.S. The exact fee per bet is 0.0000456 BTC.

Just to make sure, even if there is a "fund" with the devs chancecoins for "fast" liquidity for btc bets, in the end all of the chancecoin liquidity is coming from poloniex?

I mean that in no way the devs chancecoin amount is decreasing - right?

Correct -- our CHA holdings will not decrease. The server will only ever automatically buy CHA back with incoming BTC (sending the price of CHA up on Poloniex).

We are definitely not reducing our CHA holdings at such a mature point in our coin development where most of the key features are implemented. We are actually quite excited about the upcoming weeks where we can start shifting our focus a bit to the marketing side. The next round of marketing launch should have a much bigger impact now as our project is more complete and the user interface is much improved. Let us know if you have any creative ideas Wink

Thank you for the clarification.

Web faucet will go live today.  Grin
Great news!
I don't think I know any other coin with so many updates in such a short time.
keep up the great work.

- Web wallet. We can't directly host a Web wallet for legal reasons, but we might be able to finagle some kind of decentralized solution.
Magician
Interested to know if you thought about a solution for this?

We have an idea to do an extremely lightweight version of the Chancecoin client that would be a single HTML file the user could download and use as a Web wallet, but we're still thinking about it.

@Devs what is the current roadmap?

From the dev side:
(in roughly this order)
- Web faucet feeding from the donation fund
- Lightweight Web/JS wallet
- Improved new user experience
- More single-player games

From the marketing side:
- Get some real press coverage (angle: just-dice is dead, decentralized is the way to go)
- Faucet campaign
- Gambling campaigns
- Better documentation

I like the roadmap and the order very much!  Cheesy

Web faucet will go live today.  Grin
