Uggghhh I can't get my address off the phone, I can't see it.
The wallet keeps saying "Dogecoin wallet has stopped working" when I try to edit to see the whole address
Maybe I should just forget trying to get clams from that.

Thats a problem with many wallets, especially for smartphones. They try to make it simple for the average user but make it annoying for experienced ones.
I dont like the mindset behind. At least it should have a pro checkbox.
Well I finally was able to view one address and I "dug" it in JustDice.. turns out I do have clams!
So I might have more than I think from other change addresses..
Now I just have to figure out how to get or "backup" the file off the phone, what a pain.

Shows currently active nodes. Also the op lists some nodes. Also there is a bootstrap file mentioned a page back by Dooglus. That will get you up to speed quicker.
Look up the IP address of seed.clams.xyz and clam.just-dice.com. They should both resolve to a list of IP addresses that are currently running CLAM nodes that are accepting incoming connections:
Why not just do this? From a quick look at the source it seems the client will properly handle a DNS lookup with multiple A records in the reply.

Just gonna keep on posting that my "pending withdraw" from Cryptsy is about 24 hours old and still a no show. Not even a reply from support about the ticket that is open. Cryptsy is so unprofessional.
You do not trade any POS coin on Craptsy they are too busy staking your coins for you to withdraw them.... I just will not trade there at all, having said that each to there own

I always use poloniex. That's where the vast majority of on-exchange CLAM trading happens.

SuperClam recently pointed me at a program called bitcoin-seeder. It spiders the Bitcoin p2p network to collect a list of peers that accept incoming connections, and it runs as a DNS server which produces a list of Bitcoin peer IPs. People run it on various servers, and the domain names of those servers are hard-coded into the Bitcoin client so that the client can find peers to connect to the first time it is run.
Until now the CLAM client has taken a simpler route - it has a hardcoded list of CLAM client IP addresses which it attempts to connect to. The problem with that is that clients go on and offline, change IP addresses, get full up, etc. and so it would be better to use the Bitcoin approach.
I modified bitcoin-seeder to spider the CLAM network. My changes are on the clam branch in my fork on github.
So now we need a few people to build and run that code on servers with high availability.

I've used poloniex with good success (I didn't have to wait upon withdrawal). I was only selling though, I didn't try to buy there.
Bought all my CLAM from poloniex and I had no issues.

Cryptsy stakes their CLAM wallet.
I would expect their wallet either needs sweeping of faucet dust or has most of their outputs immature due to recent staking.

You could ask for the withdrawal to be cancelled and convert to whatever and move elsewhere, they did this for me quickly, I made the mistake of retrying the CLAM withdrawal thinking it was just a hiccup

Overall I find Cryptsy pretty good but back in May it took me about a week to get my CLAM out, got there eventually.
Bought CLAM on Cryptsy and after 20 hours still waiting for my withdraw. I be willing to say they don't have them to sell, and that is why I'm having a hard time with my withdraw.

try to do on Bittrex. couple days ago i bought and withdraw to my wallet withaout problem. but buy/sell activity is low.
There was an alert on Bittrex that CLAM volume is low and can be delisted.
2.4 BTC volume today and it appears there is a bid now.
