This newbie couldn't take it anymore... Spent about $100 miner renting and electricity, for 20k coins. Out @ 6250. Thought I was gonna have a friggin heart attack riding this bull!

Instead of a PoW miner being awarded 3500 coins, a PoS miner steals away that block and gets a couple coins. If PoS were having an effect, there should be even LESS coins right now, not more. And please, even if you did understand how this all works, just quick do the math in your head. How is PoS going to produce 1.5 million extra coins in one day?

Because POW doesnt end till 2880. Just because POS starts, doesn't mean POW ends.
I went and did the math myself. And yes, it looks like total POW is a little over 10mil. I don't see this as a big problem as the dev probably changed the specs a dozen times before launch and forgot to change the total POW number in the specs. I have been involved in many coin launches and it is very stressful to launch a coin, small mistakes are understandable.

yes, when the dev would be not a "famous" guy in the crypto world, than this coin wouldnt be after 48 hours realese on cryptsy, on mintpal and on nearly EVERY exchange out there.

This is true. But if anyone had moved coins to their wallet for staking 8 hours before block 2000 was reached, there wouldn't be so many coins because every staked block kills a pow block. It seems _nobody_ did that. So there's going to be a few more coins than planned out there.
Staking IS working now though, so the cap is going to be closer to 9.5m than 8.5m.

Hey, I bought into this coin myself and im all for "the moon" deal. Just trying to get a better understanding of who the dev is and what his cause is for the inactivity. I'm no techy so for all I know, he drew some pretty pictures of a new anon feature and everybody is biting into it.
