Look at the arrow in the bottom right of your wallet. After transactions are 2 days old in your wallet it turns green. If you hover over it when it is green it will tell you roughly how long it will be.

Unless your wallet was synced to the wrong fork at the time you made the tx - in which case, you should be able to run -resync and get your coins back. (You did make a backup of your wallet.dat before installing the new wallet, right?)

Why did you delete your wallet without first checking they had arrived on the exchange.

Grab the backup or wallet from the recycle bin. If there was a fork there was no need to send your coins out.

Get your old wallet, put it in your appdata/roaming/paycon folder and redownload the chain. Your coins are still there.

When your appdata/romaing/paycon folder only contains your wallet.dat file and paycon.conf file start the new client."

When you will see what coins in your wallet.

Meant to always overwhelm Proof of Work Blocks, the Proof of Stake Blocks may have been too easy and a fork was caused by the sheer amount of orphans.

This is not a guaranteed answer though, I am only assuming.
