With PoS active, it is not an issue. No one has been mining for a while anyways. If there was no PoS then the coin would die simply due to people waiting for larger block rewards.
Now, what about MN % change? (not that I mined enough to even start one...) Currently 60%. Want to change to what?

Right now MN 60% will be only after 700 000 block, but you can run MN early and your reward will be 0% (we did run MN in testnet network and you can check MN payouts https://testnet.cosanta.net/, also, for testnet MN rewards will be early - on 333 333 height)
Our idea for MN rewards start from 5-10% and increasing reward up to 60% when new service will be available on it. Because the blocks are created by miners and if the nodes do nothing, then the rewards should not be so high.
Regarding the change in rewards - we want to more smoothly increase rewards in the first 4 years, but because of this, the total supply of coins will change total supply.
