BOUNTY ANNOUNCEMENT

What's needed

- Breadwallet (IOS)

Whats on offer

- 10,000 CRW

Join us on mattermost / Slack or PM me for more info

Bounty is still available 😀

That's a $5,000 bounty.  I'm a bit surprised that nobody has claimed it!
$7,000
I do have a meeting with top-notch iOS developer tomorrow. I can show him what we need to see if he would be capable to develop iOS app for us with this budget. I think with what is available on the market we should be able to do so.

Sorry I just signed up for bitcoin talk and its not letting me reply to anything so I quoted. Who does Crown masternode hosting?

Hello guys, just to share some updates with you and show you I´m not sleeping:-)

We have added Crown support into our instant exchange - https://bitcoingold.shop/ . For now, we have opened Bitcoin to Crown conversion and will open Crown to Bitcoin conversion later on. Also we will allow conversion from Dash and other altcoins to Crown soon.

Hope Crown community will like this instant conversion service. Who know how long will take Shapeshift to add Crown.
Also we can prepare API which can be used for the Android wallet so we will be able to convert BTC to CRW directly within the wallet.

If you like my support, feel free to tip me guys. I will do not dump them on the market, but use them as a reserve for our exchange.

Credibit community tipped me with 700 USD worth of CRB and I not even asked for it:-)

Also if you like the service, feel free to add it on the Crown website.

Cheers

Hi, in a hot/cold throne setup, does the hot node need to have its wallet unlocked at all times to get rewards (cold can be turned off after successful launch of throne)?  I'm trying to set up a throne in hot/cold because I heard if running a throne directly from hot node only, the wallet must be unlocked so it's not safe?

No, once your throne is started you can close your local wallet. There is no need to keep it unlocked either.

I see, I can close the local wallet (on Windows machine) anytime, and I should keep the hot wallet (on raspberry pi masternode in my case) locked at all times as well.  On the raspi I am actually running crown-qt so I can see the things visually.

Thank you.

I for one have wasted a huge amount of money for the thrill of mining.  People are weird.
I'm one of those weird guys that could have bought a 2nd house for the amount I've invested into rigs.  Embarrassed

Same here, except not a house but could bought a new BMW  Cheesy

Wow did you see the last sale price for that house? What ever happened in that neighbourhood?
My guess would be an estate sale or a secondary foreclosure. It's not really "what happened" to some neighborhoods like that, a lot of times people pay way too much for a 100 year old home to find out that, since it's so old, it's listed as "historic" and there's only so much they can do to it to make it something people would want (so they just stop paying the mortgage and take the credit hit). Some people need to watch less crap on the TLC channel. Tongue

... miners are playing this role fine  Wink for now  Grin
I make a distinction between miners and rentals Wink

I've often wondered whether it is possible to make a profit with mining rentals.  I assumed not...

Not easily anyway
With merges and the right timing, yes it is; however, usually it costs more than it makes (that's why most that rent, do so for the "thrill" of mining).
