What cause that massive drop of CRW price in the last 24 hours?
Other accounts hacked followed by massive dumps on the exchange? Or is it just the endless bear market  punishing CRW worse than usual?
Too many questions Smiley

I think there are multiple factors at play. The main one is probably the general bear market. Secondly, the Revaloot fork was called off somewhere yesterday (project will still carry on but not by forking Crown), so maybe some CRW was dumped because of that. I wish we knew for certain. no hard to find that info in the masternode vote system and past votes, all ur answers are there!!!!!!!!

I'm still super optimistic though. Check out Farid's presentation a few posts up to see one of our most important strategies to increase liquidity and velocity on the Crown markets

What cause that massive drop of CRW price in the last 24 hours? The devs are premining super blocks in the background and selling on ur arse's i warned all ages ago they doing this... Is this premine super blocks shown in spec info ( i think not )

Other accounts hacked followed by massive dumps on the exchange? Or is it just the endless bear market  punishing CRW worse than usual? check there masternode vote system its rigged and not decentralize and alot of premined superblocks to keep there shoes clean as ms.lazy arsee said it cost more than 0.5 to clean all the devs shoes. ( said this before aswell )

Too many questions Smiley Yes ive know the original devs and they couldn't speak engrish, Stonehenge and other devs if u read threw the post have no respect from REAl old guard traders and miners due to there theifing actions and there lack of respect for holders of the coin longer than them.
And probs the reason u dont see infernal even tho they run of his pools... ive seen him report other scam devs to government anti scam watchdogs and wounder why he even has his name related to crw in any way or form and probs why he hides

They think there sly but they never seen F all like a old guard ccex troll/mod has threw the years and cant pull the wool over our eyes!!!! And is why they will NEVEr get into a live convo or in a trade chat box cuz they know they will look worse than they already do atm...

After the CRW community voted to move to a Proof of Stake protocol earlier this year through our governance system, the works on a tailored PoS mechanism where only masternode and systemnode operators stake is proceeding according to plan. A team of experienced developers lead by a PoS expert Presstab is currently working on the staking process and block validation. Hope to change to PoS by end of this year!

External devs who are experts on PoS were hired while Crown developers lead by Artem are focusing on delivering the platform and API, hope to have first pieces of the platform ready with the PoS release this year.

I found the wallet stopped again today, running latest version - v0.12.5.1 - after 2 days with no issues. All the other wallets were fine. If it helps, running ubuntu 16.40.
I will monitor it closely those days and report if happen again.

Hi!!!

Having mining somes crowncoin (first wallet) in 2014.
I got somes coins after new wallet crown core.

and had sucessfully update wallet to the last format, but my coins appears in Read only mode.

When I'll try to get back my private key, an error occured like "invalid private key format"

Is it a format key bug?

If is there, how to convert my private key to the lastest format?

Thank's in advance!

Indeed, found it crashed for the second time in 2 consecutive days. First time I thought that it was my fault, closing it by mistake, but not the case. Funny thing is that was ok in the previous 2 weeks.
Anyway, installed the latest and hoping to be fine now.
Thank you for the quick fix.

Yeah as I understand it the circumstances for this to happen weren't very likely, that's why it ran fine for a few weeks. But seeing as it could either reoccur within a day or after a year, we didn't want to run the risk by just ignoring it. That's my understanding at least.

Funny thing is we were all having dinner together when it happend, so we had to get up and basically run back to the apartment. Devs stayed up until 3am to get the fix released, so credit goes to them  Smiley

Crown Core v0.12.5 Release Notes

Any nodes and local wallets that are not on v0.12.5 will NOT be able to connect to the network. Make sure you update!

Check the link for more info https://medium.com/crownplatform/crown-core-v0-12-5-release-notes-211b83659188

Thank you, done it 2 weeks ago or so on all the computers. I've noticed that in the last couple of days I'm getting systemnodes rewards more often. Could be because old wallets are not connected?

crw dump weak hand

time buy massev bag
dont miss big pump
crw same price dash

Indeed massive dump over the night, price 25% down, wondering why is that? New crown wallet working perfectly for me, no issues on both windows and Linux.

A hacker stole 60k from a community member earlier this week, he or she has sold the stolen coins yesterday. If people can help pls do, we are reporting this to bittrex. Anyone is welcome to help.

these are the compromised addresses, already addresses of the hacker

https://chainz.cryptoid.info/crw/address.dws?199YEjgE9DLhrZscBr5wVF6BNMFnTY3fTH.htm (12.5k)
https://chainz.cryptoid.info/crw/address.dws?18iKELNK7sLymBU1yxukrQ82QfTibQYK4o.htm (12.5k)
https://chainz.cryptoid.info/crw/address.dws?14YDxhZkzYrmyfBxKRcbDTbbfz617VRk51.htm (10.5k)
https://chainz.cryptoid.info/crw/address.dws?1By9EHFa2cfhMhuuizh7xSkC7gJ9rTXjVb.htm (22.5k)

That would explain it... How did that happen? Anyway, CRW seem to recover, it will be back in the next couple of days.

To clarify: the community member who had their CRW stolen had installed malignant 3rd party software on his device. Through that (and maybe with the help of a keylogger - I'm not sure), the user's wallet.dat was compromised and stolen, and the coins were then sold.

The Crown wallet itself is safe to use, but PLEASE BEWARE when installing 3rd party software - this could happen to any of us.
