It has become clear that chain companies cannot thrive in this sector without the help of regulators and policy makers. thus forming an appropriate framework. Regulation is useful for adoption of It's a fast financial technology, as the absence of regulation will make it difficult to recognize encryption technology. What about CROWN's position in the sector? Is there a label?

Trezor integration is a great step forward for Crown. With the address format changed, is it possible to apply for Ledger integration?
Thank you.

Perhaps one day Crown will launch a new service based on the blockchain supply chain, integrating artificial intelligence and Internet of Things technology as a supply chain service based on its blockchain platform via its open source software allowing developers and third-party applications to leverage traditional enterprise data systems that can be integrated into a distributed general ledger. The new service can be cloud-based, combined with existing management system or order services, will integrate technologies such as blockchain and artificial intelligence to enable real-time visualization of order shipments for e-commerce, for example, alerts and optimization recommendations.

By using an open CROWN API, the supply chain suite allows distributors, manufacturers and retailers to integrate, along with their suppliers' data and networks, into the blockchain to track products and components. Data that can be integrated include the IoT sensor system for real-time cargo location.

It is a suggestion of accompaniment, Blockchain will become the "identity card" for tangible and intangible products.

Hey team Roll Eyes I wonder if it will be possible in the future on CROWN Plateform function to set up privacy protection. In the private binary transaction channel, the user transfers the account to the confidentiality agreement via the public address, the specified number of account assets in the public address disappears and generates the UTXO equivalent as an entry, the confidentiality agreement is verified and the balance is generated in the specific public address account. complete the confidentiality transaction. With the binary element privacy protection function, it is possible to achieve non-connectability and non-traceability, and the privacy channels of both parties to the transaction can be established to protect the privacy information of both parties.

It was noted that the binary confidentiality protection function can be used in management scenarios such as master data and chain confidentiality protection, employee equity incentives and transaction dividends..்

Interesting idea, might be a good idea to add it / pin it in our gitlab for future reference, maybe some dev can make it happen.

Questions:

- Where to see explore public to see NFT?
- How to post pictures, videos, mp3 in metadata?
- How to censor prohibited, illegal texts or metadata images?
- Is there an interface to sell, exchange or buy non-fungible NFTs?
- Is multilingual translation planned?

Where to see explore public to see NFT?
http://defunctextest2.com/nftlist.php
- How to post pictures, videos, mp3 in metadata?
Metadata is only made for text. Post a link to the image in metadata.
- How to censor prohibited, illegal texts or metadata images? There are no images or videos hosted on the bloclchain, only tokenised representation of it (Hash "nfTokenId" and link in metadata).
- Is there an interface to sell, exchange or buy non-fungible NFTs?
Trading of NFT tokens are planned for the release after Emerald as well as Bitcoin core updates to (0.17).
- Is multilingual translation planned?
Not sure about this.
- Qr code shortcut link is planned?
Couldn't this be built by the community? Block explorers etc
- Non-Latin character (Chinese-Russian, Indian, Korean........) are they compatible?
I doubt this but should be considered if funding allows.

Development update October 2019
Almost ready for release

Despite the constraints on their time resulting from superblock budgetary limitations, both Artem and Ashot are making solid progress with their projects. It looks like they’ll be ready to advance to their next stages at about the same time. In this update we talk about the active projects, the forthcoming Emerald release and tease you with possibilities for the subsequent release.

NFT framework
Artem is still working to finish the mempool transactions and NFT protocol registration functionality. These have proved trickier than anticipated but he thinks they’ll be done and the Emerald release (v0.14) ready for testing by the end of next week. So we’re on track for mainnet release early in November.

We have some volunteers lined up to help with the testing but it would be helpful to have a few more. If you are also keen to help then a good preparatory task would be to get set up on testnet. Then, as soon as we push the release you’ll be able to upgrade and get stuck in. The more people we have testing the release the shorter the test window can be and the sooner we can push the mainnet release.

We’ll publish an article in the next couple of days explaining how to get involved if you’ve never experimented with testnet.

Codebase update

Ashot is putting the finishing touches to the QT wallet code. This has proved a bigger task than anticipated but it is the last section of the Bitcoin v0.17 codebase to be integrated. He is hopeful that by the end of next week he’ll be ready for the first attempt at firing up the merged code. He’s expecting it to not work perfectly first go and to hit some bugs. Probably after a couple of weeks it will be ready for more widespread testing.

Trezor — the proof is in the pudding
Due to an unfortunate oversight, Crown is not yet usable with the Trezor hardware wallets. We have submitted another merge request, which has already been accepted. We are hopeful that Trezor firmware versions 2.1.7 for Model T, and 1.8.4 for One, will finally work with Crown. It’s not possible to test in advance of the releases so we won’t know for certain until the firmwares are available in the wild.

So what will be in the Emerald release?

Crown v0.14 “Emerald” will include:

NFT core functionality
NFT registration
NFT protocols registration
Bitcore NFT support for web-development

These components will provide developers and web developers with enough functionality to really build applications using the NFT framework. We’re aware of a handful of projects in development and look forward to seeing them finished and operational soon after the Emerald release.

What about the codebase update?
Although in the opening paragraph it sounds like NFTs and codebase will be ready for testing at about the same time they are really at different stages in the development process. They will not appear together in the Emerald release. Even if they were at the same level of completion it would be (too) risky with the resources at our disposal to release them at the same time. So the codebase update will be in the next release.

It might be possible is to include the next elements of the NFT framework in that release. Right now NFT framework and the codebase update are happening in parallel from basically the same starting point. So the Emerald code knows nothing about the codebase changes, and the new codebase knows nothing about the NFT framework. Those two branches will have to be merged and the result will hopefully be the base for the next release.
The other planned NFT framework functions are:

NFT protocols data update (plus associated Bitcore changes)
NFT burn (plus associated Bitcore changes)
NFT transfer and transfer authorisation (plus associated Bitcore changes)
NFT trading (expected to be an off-chain protocol using the Bitcore wallet service)

The timing and content of the next release will be dependent on how the market reacts to the Emerald one. Crown is producing really solid technological development but so far that is not reflected in the price. We need to see a good price bump from the Emerald release to be able to afford to continue the development effort.

Would you like to know more?
If you’d like to get involved in Emerald release testing, or have any questions or comments on this update, please let us know in Discord.
We have a weekly development call on Zoom every Thursday at 13:00 CET which any community member is welcome to join. Ping Artem in Discord if you’ve never attended before so he knows to let you in.
If you have a suggestion for a codename for the release after Emerald please let us know in Discord or Telegram. Continuing the (green) gemstone theme, one possibility is Verdite.

Short update for the 5th anniversary
What happened at Crown in 2019 and what is coming next?

The following is a short report that throws light on three central dimensions of the Crown project: 1) Community engagement 2) technical innovation and 3) project governance. What has happened at Crown during this year and what is coming next? Read on to find it out!

1. Community Engagement
Community engagement plays a central role for the functioning of Crown, as the Community decides on the allocation of the monthly Decentralised Governance and Proposal System (DGPS — see Governance section).

We can notice a growing global interaction within mainstream social media such as Twitter (12k+), Medium (1k+), Discord (1k+) Facebook (1.4k+) and on the core project website (over 100k backlinks) which has moved to crownplatform.com.

Additionally, several decentralised initiatives such as crowncentral.net and crwwallet.net generate complementary content and user conversion, as well as engagement around the DGPS.

- Crown Statistics, Budget Proposals & Node Monitoring — CrownCentral.net: Oversee Crown network statistics and budget proposals at a glance and easily monitor your Masternodes and Systemnodes.

CrwWallet.net — Crown online wallet: crwwallet.net users now have access to a powerful but simple NFT generator tool. API will be provided in the future.

2. Technical Innovation
The launch of the custom Masternode and Systemnode Proof of Stake consensus system in April 2019 redistributed mining power across currently more than 2400 incentivised full nodes and stabilised the Crown network after suffering the consequences of recentralisation through increasingly pool-only mined SHA256. MNPoS solves known PoS vulnerabilities and prevents staking centralisation through the introduction of a capped PoW related to a fixed collateralised stake:

https://medium.com/crownplatform/crown-platform-nft-framework-18d88f9db76

Next steps:
1) End of October, the NFToken framework will be released to mainnet within Crown Core 0.14 „Emerald“. It comprehends an advanced registry layer for the issuance of non-fungible tokens and aims to create a digital economy around the registration and trading of physical and digital assets on the Crown blockchain:

2) The Crown Core codebase is being upgraded to Bitcoin Core v0.17
Ongoing development and innovation towards releasing Crown Platform 1.0 entail future updates of the Crown Core software. Stay tuned to keep your nodes up to date.

3. Project Governance
When Crown was a merge-mined SHA256 coin, it had Masternode staking and a percentage of the block reward going to the Decentralised Governance and Proposal System fund allocation.

After removing auxpow and making the Master- and Systemnode network the only creators of blocks, the reward distribution was restructured. Today, 75% of the block reward goes towards mining and staking nodes, while 25% of the block reward is retained by the blockchain to be distributed to monthly passing proposals if consensus among the Masternode network is reached. It is important to note that there is no central authority controlling the DGPS and that these coins are „floating“ and only minted directly to the addresses of the proposal owners once and if they have been approved by the network. There is no central treasury or private keys to any governance coins. Most proposal funds go to contributing developers, marketing and design, but anyone is free to submit a proposal and participate at Crown!

Crown is 5 years old!
The genesis block was mined on the 8th of October 2014 at 16:39:57 UTC

- Crown turns 5 on October 8th
- The first block had a miner reward of 10 CRW and went to 1KSuRJCQTqMvZXuVj75fb18SZgmi6eCqX7
- During these five years, over 23 million CRW were mined
- Almost 19 million CRW remain to be mined
- As of today, there are more than 2400 mining nodes

I am personally not a fan of anniversaries. Conmemorating historical dates and founding moments tends to condition the future, make the present static, and lends itself to linear and a-posteriori constructions of history. We know that many of today’s traditions were (re-)invented in the modernity and then dated back to ancestral times. Kingdoms, nations, associations, sports teams… they all resist through this strategy, they all have their founding myths to generate cohesion and sense of belonging among their communities. These myths produce what we normally call collective identity.
Anyone who is into crypto or participates in blockchain projects knows that identity is different in this world. That belonging is different. Traditionally speaking, identity is exclusive. We define ourselves in opposition to others and to the other. We define ourselves through difference. In Crown however, we are living examples of the “loose ties” social model. We all have different views and ideologies, that is not the reason we are part of the same network. We are part of it because at Crown, identity is defined through what brings us together in otherness, instead of separating us. In short: We are the others. So what do we share, then? A blockchain, a network of nodes, and long term goals of building a stable alternative to some of the biggest flaws of our economic and financial systems.

There is no myth around the founding of Crown. It is all registered on the blockchain and transparent as glass.

It is important to know that myths normally try to obfuscate the truth, which is seen to be not as beautiful as its latter (re-)construction, filled with narrative and heroism. In this concrete example, Crown’s first launch failed. That doesn’t sound too heroic, does it? Our luck is that the truth is sometimes much more simple and yet can hold greater beauty than the myth:
The first Crown launch failed because the communication on BitcoinTalk went wrong and miners could not participate from the beginning, so the chain was restarted for a fair-launch to be ensured.

Some hours later, Infernoman had already set up a mining pool for those who did not want to solo mine.

So this is what happened 5 years ago. And here we are, more than 2.5 million minutes (and blocks) later.
By the way, we recently moved from crown.tech to crownplatform.com. Visit the new website here: www.crownplatform.com

Let’s keep building!

Yes of course it is the principle of the public chain because the methods of depositing information and protecting Blockchain confidentiality can guarantee the authenticity of information or contracts, the Blockchain program can automatically execute contracts and liability in the event of breach of contract can be automatically executed, centres of interest or certificates are encrypted with the public key and saved. Avoid privacy breaches When you need to verify the authenticity of information to a third party (e. g. a judicial body), you can disclose this information to a third party, who can verify the authenticity of this information using hashes and public keys.
