I'm trying to solo since I can;t for whatever reason get the pool to work
I have no problems what so ever on other stratum pools

Ive wondered this in the past, i was able to connect to solo quicker than the pool so i dunno why.

Never experienced that, ever.
Guessing you never got in at launch time then.. because this literally happens every time except for a few launches where the diff started higher.
