If someone can get into the IRC and post a few messages that'd be great.
This is not our largest concern if they are able to make the switch in a few hours.

I do not think it will affect the price as it is already way too low. Just 55 block till the KGW, ... feels like counting down to new year

How do you think the price will change after KGW? For exapmple, for last 2 weeks we got ~ 2x720 blocks @ 3 days that is 1440 x 50 / 3 = 24000 mained coins/day. With expected 30 sec. block 24h = 24x60x60x2 = 172800 coins/day. So, @ the end there will be 7,2x more newly mined coins on market.
P.S. 60 blocks left. @ hashrate based on last 20 blocks wee will get there in ~ 2h.

Oh well, if someone hasn't updated, it's their problem and not ours. We've done all that's to be expected of us. However we can hope that it will be noticed and bring some people back who have forgotten about us.
