Not your keys, not your coins!
People ask too much and expect too much on altcoins, not only on DASH. When altcoins will recover to their all time high (in fiat or in BTC)? Does it a really matter to recover your funds? I don't think so. The matter is you (as investors who misinvested at too high enter price in the past) should wait patiently and take advantage of any significant bumps to cash out and repeat it (cash out at highs, wait patiently to buy back at cheaps, then cash out at highs again). Doing this 5 times (or 10 times with 10% increase for each round), then you will need to see DASH increases only 20 percent (even less because of cumulative net-effects from each won round), then investors will get their initial funds back (fully recovery, I meant) without needs to see DASH (and the others) returns back to All time high.

Bear Market impact on Altcoins and Bitcoin

I wonder if any of these cryptocurrencies actually get to 100% Down from ATH, i suspect not.

Dash Longterm (1W) Price Development

At this point i'm just waiting on the next MA cross and hope it will be a golden cross.

Excesses in the markets are paid expensive, both in money and in time.

I think today we all ask ourselves the big question:

Will Dash return to his ATH?

Will BTC return?

Was the price a meaningless excess and now we approach its real value?

We have a great product in the market, who uses it, knows it. We also have the ability to offer people interests of more than 6% by entering master nodes.

We are protected from 51% attacks

We have a network of instant payments

A system of government that learns from its mistakes, and evolves.

All of that has value, and that is what we are looking for.

The bottom line is that Dash is worth time and money.

how much?

It is complicated to answer. I consider that it should capitalize above $ 1000,000,000, but that will depend largely on what the Core Group shows us and especially on the quality of evolution.

Now it is the last train, we can take it or see how it moves away so as not to return again.

I have never had so much Dash in my wallet as now, I don't like the low price, but I understand that if I have to accumulate it is better now than when I was at $ 1000.

Thanks for the chart, qwizzie, greetings.

Price : At this point i'm just waiting on the next MA cross and hope it will be a golden cross (bullish indicator).  Currently that means red line (0.0077) needs to cross green line (0.0086) in an upward movement
RSI : With 23.79 the Dash market is giving a slightly oversold signal
MACD : Dash Market still having positive momentum (line still green)

dash looking like good coin
 but
soon 55$>30>60$ 2020Q2 Cool

I am not sure about that. Although users speak quite well about Dash - https://revain.org/projects/dash, there are many other really good coins. For example, bitcoin. So why buy dash when you can invest to btc? This is more reliable than in a dash. So it seems to me. I also doubt the price increase after the fall "30>60$".

Dash is a system that feeds on funds obtained from the treasury.

These funds go to the Core Group, to independent proposals, and everything that is approved by the nodes.

It is evident that there is a limit price where the Dash ecosystem stops obtaining financing and ends up dying slowly.

Are we at that point?

Not yet, but not far.

The bear market in BTC, in addition to the massive sales in Dash, have made the coin's performance the worst in the top 30.

Not so long ago we capitalized 5X the price of Monero, today we are matched.

I think that Dash's big difference with other currencies that have gained capitalization is that both treasure and mining throw the coins to the market as soon as they have them in their hands.

Other currencies are kept waiting for better prices, and that prevents them from rapidly losing market capitalization.

In Dash the monthly financing throws coins to the market, and the miners exchange their Dash for BTC or USD quickly, this puts a lot of pressure on the downward price.

The currency is really good compared to others, but that is not enough if mainstream is not done.

Betamax was a good video format but it wasn't enough ... commodore AMIGA was a great computer, but it wasn't enough, will Dash's fate be remembered as a good coin that couldn't be?

I hope not, it is a pity that while the master nodes have so much power to improve the ecosystem something is not done big and the money goes to small things that will not change anything.

Good luck, and yes, Dash is a good coin.

Vertcoin Suffers Second 51% Attack Showing Advantages of Dash's ChainLocks

Any ideas about what happened with Dash Labs or any explanation of Evan Duffield about his projects?

It is sad not to find anything about the creator of Dash, he suggests to the followers and holders of the coin that he has thrown in the towel with his projects in Dash Labs.

On the other hand Evan was a great Dash holder:

https://www.reddit.com/r/dashpay/comments/acuh1i/evan_duffield_promised_to_donate_80_of_his_260/

Does anyone know anything about their promises or have they been just words on the air?

Exchange sales push the price down, it seems that there are those who own a large amount of Dash and sell it to the market every day.

Who could be after these sales?

Any great holder of the past who leaves the project through the back door?

Thanks to all and good luck with the project,

Checks and Balances: The Dash DAO Irrevocable Trust

A common misconception about the Dash network is that it is too centralized, with key assets in the hands of the Dash Core Group. However, the real power lies with the decentralized masternode network. The Dash DAO Irrevocable Trust protects the Dash network's assets, such as the code and commit access, from potential bad actors within DCG. A decentralized entity owning all of the shares of a centralized entity. Another first from Dash.
